I used to get my nails done every two weeks. Covid put an end to that, and through UA-cam, I have learned to do them myself. I don't enjoy it; there's just something about having someone else do it for me. But I do love the money I save by doing them myself.
I feel you with paying to get nails done. I do it every so often as a treat. Same with getting coffee out at coffee shops.

Good to see a new video. I understand your wanting to minimize extra expenses. Student loans, car loan, insurance and maintenance take a good chunk out of a paycheck. Not counting rent. I am sure a smart girl like yourself is contributing to your pension retirement fund.

it is so strange to see people in the US go to work so late, my brother starts his work at 10am while I (in Austria) get up at 5am to start at 7am
It just depends on the job and what kind of company you work for. I’m in the US and have worked two jobs (including my current job) where I have to be there by 4:30am.
I have friends in the US who start work at 6am! All depends on the type of job you have :)

You must be fun. Eat the foods that make you happy and satiated
Eating out. Bottled water. Coffee. All an outrageous amount of money over 12 months that you don’t have to spend. I’ve been cutting my own hair for over 20 years now. Stopped going to the salon during the last job I had. Just not worth $100 every 6 weeks since my glamour days were long gone.
Everyone has things they are willing to give up and others they aren’t. She’s young. She will figure it out. What’s important to her now will change over time. We both know this. That’s the benefit of getting older and wiser.
If I could have back half the money I wasted…. I hate to think about where I’d be right now if I’m being honest. 😫
