Thanks Howard, for watching and commenting. Fortunately, back in 1987 when I started videoing, I had the foresight to write-up every trip out and all the loco numbers, although I didn’t bother with many of the Unit numbers sadly. Just as well, as the numbers aren’t always clearly visible in the Standard Definition video of the time. Sometimes my notes have been inaccurate,, but viewers have kindly pointed this out in the comments (e.g. ‘“can’t be 47 xxx because it was never in that livery etc etc.”) and I’ve been able to correct things in a new uploaded version. Cheers, Geoff.
I’m not sure which clip you’re referring to, but I’m guessing it’s a Mk 1 BG coach, for parcels and bikes etc. No equivalent was made for the Mark 2 and 3 coaching stock. 👍😊
Epic and legendary at the same time, nothing else to add and nothing else to subtract.
Yes, a very impressive locomotive withdrawn before their time IMHO. Thanks for commenting 👍😊
Love the 86s' and 87s', the first electric locos that I travelled on from Crewe to London.
Class 86 compilation still to come once I’ve edited it. Glad you enjoyed this one. Thanks for commenting. 😊👍
Trains in the 1980s - Class 87s in Action
That's an impressive van train at the end!
Great video
Identifying location, date and loco makes it so much more interesting.
Well done thanks.
