Brilliant instruction video, many companies will always require an expert trainer who talks about all the points that matter...well done

How can I determine which model I have? A tech told me I should order your ITS96KIT to replace the parts inside the channel. However, when I search for ITS 96, these are not surface mounted channels like the Dorma TS 92 closer. The model number is not stamped anywhere on the outside or inside of the channel. Something Dorma should start doing to help those of us in facility management.

great video apart from the fact that that particular closer does not allow the door to open to 180 degrees because the runner installed above the frame is not long enough.

Why or when do you need an 180° opening angle ???

It does allow 180 degree operation, it is Class 4 under EN1154 which requires 180 degree operation.

This door closer works horribly and cannot be set properly, as you can see in this video. Not closing the sample door is not valid. The second stage does not work at 15 degrees, but somewhere between 35-40. This is a design error of this solution with the guide. The arm of the door closer to the guide should have a hole cut out for installation at a different angle, so that the second step engages correctly a few cm from the door frame, and not about 30-40. With a worn door with a "barrel" latch, either the door will not close or it will rebound if you increase the force in the second stage.
In devices from other companies, the arm can be set on the spline at a good angle and works properly, closing the door on the last few centimeters, thanks to which the door works very quietly and does not hit the frame.
In DORMA door closers with a guide, this cannot be set.
But in the articulated version, DORMA can be positioned perfectly.
This certainly applies to the TS90 models and, as I see it, also the TS92.
I would absolutely not recommend this device and will never use the guide version.
If you pay close attention to the closing moments of the wing, you can clearly see that the second stage engages in the wrong places, and the video footage is cut off at important moments.
