WHY THE FORD KA IS A REASONABLE SMALL CITY CAR!

- This specific car is the Euro Spec 2014 Ford KA Edge with the 1.2L Petrol Engine that has covered 50,000 miles.
I think from this video you have also gathered my hatred towards the Fiat 500.

Thanks to the Owner for letting me review her car.
Thanks for watching :)
Good honest review. I recently owned a 1.2L 2012 KA Titanium. I noticed the radio buttons always look worn, as most don't have remote controls on steering wheel, although it did have a factory fitted Bass speaker under the driver seat, which may be the alternative to steering wheel radio controls. Great car for tootling around town or a quick trip to the local shops. Not so good for motorway or dual carriageway journeys, hence I had to sell it recently, for something with a bit more power, but may consider another when I retire..
Thank you for the insight Richard!
I've driven this thing for 3 years, it's very nimble around corners!
It's got about 127,000 miles on the clock and I've never had any issues with it at all, it's been very reliable. And true, it's not at all suited for motorway driving, but it can handle it, as I drove a 400-mile road trip in it. 400 incredibly noisy and uncomfortable miles, but 400 miles nonetheless.
I have a 2014 petrol Ka Edge. Yes it's a bit noisy on the motorway but it does motor along very well. Whilst I use it mainly in the city I have driven it from London to Inverness and to Cornwall a few times a few times. I find it quite comfortable for such a small car. Ideal for 2 people not so good for 3 or 4.
You are extremely underrated, keep up the good work and you'll soon blow up!
Appreciate is man!
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..?
I somehow lost the password. I love any tips you can offer me
@Wesley Jesiah instablaster :)
@Imran Davis thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm.
Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Imran Davis It worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass!
Love your reviews. Very mature, for a young guy. I think you are gonna have a good future on YT if you stick with it. Watch the levels on the sound
Appreciate it bro! I’ll try my best to fix the audio
Nice small car, low cost operational and surely quite simple
Too bad that Ford ended its oprational in Indonesia around 2019
Steering firms up with increased speed.
The passenger seat lifts up and there is more storage under the Cushion in mine not sure if it’s the same for them all x
Ye I know thanks, it was built on the same production line as the fiat 500 so they share very similar features
Petrol engines are quite good even tho the gearboxes are bad, just don’t get the diesel 😂
i have this, how do you connect your android phone to the radio??
You do not. 🙂
@@BvanOdekerken how can i recover
Looked this up after driving my mother's 2015 Ford KA &, unlike your review, I found the steering to be rather heavy (as stated in other reviews), but would agree that on the motorway the tyre noise & engine noise were pretty excessive (had to turn radio well up). Another thing to note is that, being only 2 door, the front doors are a lot wider than on a 4 door, so more restrictive in getting out in a car park or in your garage.
(Review was fine but you need to get your sound setup sorted - volume all over the place.)
Yes I noticed the doors were too big for the car. My opinion on the steering was dependent on the car I drove before as that can alter my view so apologies if it’s somewhat wrong against the general public’s view. If you watch my later videos I do fix the audio but thanks for the feedback
Wait this isn't Doug DeMuro!
😂😂😂 I wish
i will get the Diesel variant today if i am correctly. But you have to be in The Netherlands to review it then haha
Ahahahah how you getting on with it!
@@ArmaganDemiral well after 3 weeks, the engine blew up and i had to put in an new engine.... So i got that coming. But it runs amazing, i love it! They say it need diesel, but i think it would run better on Carrot Juice
I've got one of these cars in a 1.3 tdci Titanium, its certainly does not struggle on a motorway, sorry rubbish review of this great little car
I agree. If he thinks driving this at motorway speeds (70 mph) is "basically maxing out the car", then something is wrong. I had a mk1 Ka and it was like a pocket rocket and was perfectly capable of motorway driving
@@adarbs6384 so true, I’ve the ka ii with 68 hp and I regular hit 170 km/h (105 mp/h) on the highway in Germany without problems. With 2 people and 2 bags in the trunk.
Does this car comes with hill assist?
Nope
This design looks boring & dumpy compared to the cutting edge original.
That was a rust bucket with ancient engines. What a crappy car that was...
could have reviewed my beastly KA
