Service Learning - Generosity Day

Our Year 8 students spent a morning serving at the College and Sonflower Op Shop in Term 3. These activities are part of their service-learning experience, during which students have the opportunity to give back and live out one of the College's values: Service.
Some of the other activities the students participated in, were helping the grounds staff beautify the College, cooking food for the homeless, and running a program for our Pre-Primary students.
Many students commented that doing these activities gave them a different perspective and that they could make a difference by doing something seemingly small.
