  • This is a full tutorial on an Asian Fusion groom with my adorable Biewer Yorkie, Marcel.
This videois on how I groom my own dog, the way I think he looks best. I am a professional groomer though.

So beautiful! Love your calm ways with him. He’s very well behaved too! My girl is jumpy. I’m going to show her groomer this lovely cut. Thank you!

I have a 2 week old female parti. I can't wait to have her groomed like yours. I think I've watched this video 20 times. I'm so in love with this finished look. Great presentation!!!

You have such a wonderful client. Mine is not patient so I have to take breaks with him. Thanks for demo.

Thank you for sharing this! This is the best example i've found or doing the face in this style! The only thing missing is showing how you cut the ears and how far below the ears the hair is left uncut to give the butterfly look - hoping you will do another video to show that some day since this little guy was falling asleep ;)

Thank you! I groom my own Yorkies. This is the best head grooming tutorial I have seen. My little female has the perfect face and body for this clip! Thank you. I love the hair clipped away from the face!

The design of this groom is excellent but you'd get a much nicer finish if you bathed and stretch-dried the coat immediately beforehand. I can see that you have a lot of technical skill and artistic talent. Just need to brush up on your prep work a bit. :)

Thanks for the nice comment :-)
And I know I dropped the ball there, I was planning on doing a full groom all at once but by the time he was bathed and dried it was to dark to film..
I also should have used my regular clippers with a #5F blade, but I love my little bravura. Would have gotten a smoother finish.

Lovely grooming. Gentle hands and a clam voice and easy going energy. Most groomers I see are quite yanky which makes me sad. I really enjoyed your video, thank you. Do you do any doodles aisian style as the fur is different to work with.

Love it! Going to try that on my yorkie. What kind of thinning shears do you use first?

Thank you for your nice comment :-)
The first thinning shears I use are the Rose Line 82193 single thinning shears. They aren't bad and don't cost an arm and a leg :-D

I made so many typos. I had a yorkie that i kept the baby doll cut and floor length black silky coat. With a biewer..i dont see any faces with puppy cut. Is this biewer have a cottony coat. Im looking to buy silky coat. Thete looks like i wont be able to do this myself. Yorkie was easier. Is biewer more maintenance

If you maintain their coat well they are silky, like a Yorkie.
Marcel was neutered as a young dog so his coat got a little poofier.

I never heard thst from any breeder. I want only the long silky coat so i will go back to a yorkie. I have to spay or neuter if i got the biewer. The breeders are all saying its a silky coat for biewers

Which products are so much diff than yorki for biewer. At what age do you see the final coat. I dont wany any surprises. My yorkie was beautiful passed at 16 yrs a few months ago. Just started learning about buewers but had no idea about the coat. I assumed they were all silky

    • @MostlyPoodles
      @MostlyPoodles  5 років тому

@@lindafriedman4148 They are all silky but sometimes when you neuter them they get more "volume". They get their final coat at about a year to 18 months.
I would recommend you look for a responsible breeder (depending on where you are located I can recommend some people).
And if you have facebook, there is a group called "Biewer lovers". Very helpful if you want to learn more about the breed before you make a discussion.
16 is a wonderful age for a Yorkie! I hope my Marcel gets to that age too, he is turning 11 at the end of this month.

I have bern on facebook with lots of breeders. Im lookibg forva very small 4 lb adult with long silky hair. My yorkie had floor length silky hair.. i groomed her daily. I see that the biewers will be harder to groom. Im in NYC

Wow, you have excellent hair cutting skills, a true artist, please do not take this wrong, I mean no disrespect, the word at minute mark :33 you used “feat” while you are doing a great “feat” this word is used incorrectly, you want to use the word “feet” the word “feat” means: a great achievement, you seem like a growth minded individual by the way you responded to another commenter and I salute you, many people take things wrong, I love to improve in every aspect and welcome constructive criticism, how else would I master things that are near and dear to my ❤️, I love your teaching, keep up the gift you’ve been blessed with, I learned a lot about grooming “Biewers” and for those who like to rewrite history and pronounce the “W” let it be known that in German it has the “V” sound and we consider it disrespectful for Americans to disregard our history by trying to make up their own pronunciation thank you and love to all muah🐶
