Appreciate the in-boat perspective. My wife and I just purchased the 1775 Sport version and are anxiously awaiting taking delivery in the spring after ice out.

I'm curious. Did you have to trim the motor at all on that run ? Before I bought my 1675 Adventure I had the 1650 Rebel. I never had to trim the motor at all with the Rebel. Just throttle up and go. The bow dropped right down and away we went.

Lund added the splash rail to the outer hull at waterline for 2023. I'm wondering if you could tell much of a difference from previous year Adventures without the splash rail.
For future video, I'd like to see information about the Mercury Vessel View and what is needed to implement Vessel View App with 2023 Mercury Motors. Can modern Fish Locaters (Hummingbird, Lowrance, Garmin) interface direct with the motor, is a special Mercury Dongle required in all cases (i.e.; smart phone or Fish Locater display), etc. I've been looking and can't find anything recent (2 years old or newer) that explains how to implement Vessel View.

huh, I didnt know the splash rail addition, I have 2021 1775. Vesselview. you need 200 bucks or so and a phone or any device that can display the data on the screen using bluetooth. simple device plug it in to the harness and you are done.

@@kentereau6017I had two Alumacraft that were extremely stable at top speed, but really the main the trick is get a good 4 blade prop, it really does wonders for stability control ,low speed running without dropping off plane , do you have as much top speed as a good 3-blade? no of course not but I'll take a couple miles an hour trade-off for control and safety and lower speed running without coming off plane which is very nice in rough waves

Found this same bought used for a smoking deal, with a 90hp merc, this thing looks fast as hell out of the hole. Been fishing on a 1675 Lund explorer Tiller for years that my dad has. Want a Pro guide someday, I like the big tillers.
