To me the best part of you're videos are being able to re-watch them, after visiting some of these places. The videos hit different when you can understand what you were trying to express. I've been to two of the restaurants in osaka japan.
Package your hot oil in “travel packets”. Just like ketchup! You could even do combo packets. One hot oil and the other one dark vinegar!
Love the subtle touch of adding the prices of each dish in the bottom left corner. Those are cute dumplings!
I love how honest mike is in his review and tells you if he doesn’t really enjoy something. There’s too many youtubers that just say everything is great.

At first I thought $130 is pretty steep. But look at the quantity of Wagyu and A5 Wagyu. And they cook it for you! I'd be afraid did I cook it enough? Did I over cook it?

I'm so glad you covered Corner 17, definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the region. Their customizable Mala soup bowl is too good, I go for it at least once a week. Sesame chicken is good too.

I always get a good laugh with the love and hate relationship between the cauliflower and broccoli.
I love broccoli. Even the kids like it when it's roasted. My husband likes it steamed IF there's a cheese sauce.

im glad you enjoyed yourself mike, personally as a cook i just cant agree with the way wagyu is marketed and cooked and sold I swear they put so much into the show when wagyu is supposed to be about the delicacy of the meat itself to each their own of course and you seemed to have enjoyed it which makes me happy as a viewer haha cheers!
When they kept cutting it into smaller pieces and continue cooking I died inside.

Been to Rib 7 recently. Their omakase menu changed and is still experimenting. Mikey got the good stuff. I did not get the same quality.

Been to No. 7 before, pretty good. Didn't try their tartar or the wagyu omakase though. I really like how that egg yolk bun looked. Great video!

@@tmck4138 I got one of the meat combos, I think #1 or #2, as well as a japchae appetizer dish, which is like a slightly sweet glass noodle dish. Hope that helps!
