The megger test is used to measure the insulation resistance of electrical circuits, cables, and equipment.
Why using two meters???? . 1) 1587 is not reading 2.2. It's reading over 2.2 Gigaohms. 2) 1587 is also true rms, and there is no need to use second 87v meter, especially for checking resistance

Looks like an improper lead connection during the Megger test using the 1587.
