Hey Monkeyfamily! What do you think of this range of figures from Funko? Do you think the licences suit the form factor? Thanks for watching; if you enjoy the content on the channel, please share it with other collectors and toy enthusiasts! Have a great week, everyone! 👍🐵
Well, being the toy expert that I am, I've never seen or heard of these figures before 😂 I thought Funko only made pops. I really like this style, I hope they get more licences, a set of James Bond figures would be cool, or Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, A-Team, Ghostbusters? Could be a cool range, thanks for bringing these to my attention 😃👍
@Retrotoyguysi Yeah this form factor really suits the licences they have. The Thundercats ones are particularly good in my opinion. A-Team would be amazing, and I think Ghostbusters would be fun too. Thanks for watching sir; I hope your week is fly! 👍🐵
@liveanadventure429 Thanks man! I'm pleased that I was able to provide some amusement! Yeah this line of figures is quite a surprising one. I was pretty impressed actually. It appears that funko also produced some Mortal Kombat figures in this style too! Thanks so much for watching; I appreciate the support and encouragement! Have a tremendous week! 🙏👍🐵
Hi 'in different direction growing branch'! Great overview of the funko line. Nice to have some history. Maybe 'Freddy Kreuger 'is another character, he looks in no way like the Freddy Kruger I remember. Average figures but I like the vintage style of the packaging. Nice small series, perfect mini collection. Have a great week sir!
@sva3897 Thanks Seth! I think I will try to complete the horror set and perhaps get at least 6 of the 8 Thundercats figures if I can. They look pretty awesome I think! Cheers for watching dude; have a skippy week! 👍🐵
@TheOire Yeah, it is a surprisingly well produced line. I was very impressed with the ones I have in hand, and would certainly get more if I had the opportunity. Thanks for checking out the video dude; I hope your week is pleasantly cosy! 👍🐵
Thanks for tackling the Funko line of horror figures Monkeyboy! I saw images of these like six years ago but I still haven't seen them in any toy, comic, or curio shop, as I would like to purchase a few of these buggers myself. Also, I did not know about the Thundercat, Street Fighter, or DC Primal figures until you showed them here; as such, I will add some of these to my wish list. As always, keep up the good work and I'll be tuned in next week! 👍
@alexjames7670 Thanks for the comment dude! I'm pleased you found the line interesting! However, please don't buy any of the Thundercats ones; I haven't got any yet and I don't want you driving the prices up... 😅😅😅 Cheers for watching buddy 🙏 Have a groovy week! 👍🐵
@dezt5108 Oh, absolutely! You are spot on. I love this form factor as much as our beloved 3.75" SW figures. This muscular 5.5" MOTU style works very well with these horror icons (I've picked up the other 2 characters now) and I think the Thundercats collection is exceptional! Of course I love the LJN Thundercats, but I will definitely be getting these Funko Savage World ones because they look bloody amazing. Thanks for watching, Dez! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos sir 🙏 🙏🐵
I only saw the DC primal age stuff. Looks like fun. I never collected MOTU so didn't grab any of these but agree the Thundercats work. Thanks for sharing. I do have some Pops around. I have stopped buying them as there are just too many. I don't know why people hate on toys, there are so many toys I don't collect but more for other people. Have a great week.
@andrewandrew4568 I actually have 3 Star Wars pops and a couple of Funko Rock Candy superhero figurines, but they are not something I would typically buy. I would like some more of these Savage World figures though. I just found out they also have a range of Mortal Kombat figures too. Thank you for watching, Andrew! Hope your week is splendid! 👍🐵
@AllThings80s Yeah this line really did take me by surprise. I hope to get more of them in the future. This kind of toyline I'm happy to support. Thanks for watching dude 🙏👍🐵
Now these are huge improvements on the ghastly POP! Figures. These Savage World figures look like some sort of Conan The Barbarian spin off! Thanks for the video. Never knew of these, I wonder if anyone else does? They should make more of these for different franchises.
@reading_MOVIES Oh absolutely. These are very nicely presented in this form factor. I'm keen to finish the horror set and see if I can perhaps get some of the Thundercats ones too. Cheers for watching, man; I hope your week is bouncy and smells nice! 👍🐵
These are pretty cool figures. The Thundercats are my favourite and it would have been great to put them alongside He-Man. I wonder if the spelling mistakes were done deliberately as a way of adding to the "knock off" feel of the figures/packaging? If so, it's strange that they only appear on two of them. Of all the horror characters shown, which would terrify you the most based on appearance alone? Have a great week. 👍
@@stephengray8374 Thanks for watching, dude! 🙏 I think the Pinhead figure is probably the scariest looking one, but even he is pretty friendly looking! The Thundercats range is very good, and the cardbacks are nice. The form factor really suits that licence. Have a tremendous week! 👍🐵
Leatherface reminds me of Ash from Army Of Darkness. Ash cut off one of his hands in Evil Dead 2, so at the start of Evil Dead 3(Army Of Darkness) he puts a chainsaw on over the spot where he cut off his hand.
Noice! Some chunky figures there, I do like a chunky figure. I’d be very interested in the Thundercats & DC lines. Had no idea the creators of the bread headed monstrosity’s were behind these. Shame about the spelling errors. I wonder if they corrected it and you have a rare one with a spelling mistake.
@MattandTheRetroRoom Yeah I was surprised by the line and pretty impressed to be honest. I don't think they ever corrected their spelling mistakes though. I haven't yet seen any with the correct spelling of "Myers" and "Krueger". Thanks for watching dude; have a skill week! 👍🐵
@@MonkeyboysToys If you buy any loose (or unbox any) be careful with the limbs, they are infamous for breaking. Some were known to fall off in the packaging!

Very cool Monkeyboy! For the MOTU collectors, these and the other lines would be a great addition to their collections. (As in same, but different)

These are really cool looking figures. For all the (justifiable) hate Funko gets for their Pops, they do make some really nice action figures.
