Also I can understand some sentiment about Hijra to the subcontinent and maybe true for so many people, Hijra in modern times has become a luxury not everyone can afford. But what I also do understand is that the world belongs to Allah not UK, Europe or the Americans. So you should go and live wherever you feel mentally comfortable feel secure cause maybe that’s where your Rizq is and when you make Allah your Guardian over your affairs then do not lose hope nor grieve for it is Allah who provides safety and security not uk or USA or Europe. If you tie your safety and security to western nations then you have enslaved yourself to this system but rather if you tie yourself to Allah then He is best of protecters and providers. Open your mind and free yourself and live the life you want to live rather than live a life of captive and fear. This can only be attained by full submission to the way of Allah. That dose’nt mean you become a Sufi and abandon everything. It means take Allah as your Lord in everything you do and want to do. Allah encourages you to explore and seek out your provision, provision isn’t just money, that’s “maal”. Your provision is where you feel comfortable and find it easy to worship Allah and it becomes easy for you, but people on the outside may say “how does he do it, he must be strong etc but for you its easy you don’t realise it’s hard cause you are where you want to be, you are at peace. You find it easier to worship Allah day and night through your living.

I know In another comment I suggested to see more local life and culture in Pakistan since im a Bengali who’s never been to Pakistan but I understand your concept in your videos.
Your showing a expat way of life in Pakistan rather then a local cause the two things are completely different and have different ideology since you was raised up in the west and I can understand no matter how hard you try you wount be able to be a “local” so actually your video content is very rich in showcasing the life a expat should expect rather then assuming a hypothetical lifestyle ( local way of life ) which they can never imitate nor live. Very well thought of you to actually just focus on the expat way of life and its challenges than delve into the local culture.
Just wanted to say Islamabad looks wonderful and I personally think anyone actually live there from a western background without having to worry about all the desi problems.
All it takes is few families to start living in a same area and invite other families from the west to live in the same area and before you know it you have your own community and ideology and characteristics that those around will absorb and will try emulate with time. I think you can call it a jihad of hearts an and mind. If expats can take take all the positive they learnt from living in the west and try replicate that in your daily life and live as an example for others, this in its self is your personal jihad.

As someone who has family members who are in the Police force, I would never recommend it as a job for my own children.
My younger brother has had some bad experiences with the police, but he only has himself to blame. I think when you have family who are officers, you realise what they have to put up with on a daily basis, be it the attitude of those boys in Manchester, or people like my younger brother.
When I hear about the kind of things my young nephew (he’s a copper) witnesses (people hanging themselves, setting house on fire, stabbings etc), I realise the trauma they go through.

A family holiday for 3 weeks is enough. If anybody wanted to settle in Pakistan permanently would need to have already invested in a property there and a business to earn. Many Brit Pakistanis originate from rural Pakistan and have a property and land in place due to their elders and inheritance, however this does not mean everybody is in the same position. There are British people of Pakistani heritage that have no investments in Pakistan and could not consider moving there. Malaysia seems to be the place to migrate to by some Brit Muslims.
Sorry if i offend others, Pakistan belongs to the elite (Generals and corrupt political family mafias) ordinery people have immense hardship and struggles.

@@MyBritishPakistaniLifeim Brit of Pakistani heritage. My parents moved to UK when they were in there late teens as newly weds, they have lived in the UK most of their lives and are elderly now. I have nothing in Pakistan as my relatives there have migrated elswhere and have not kept incontact. For me there would be no purpose to move to Pakistan. So people similar to my situation may consider migrating elswhere such as Malaysia or closer such as Turkey, yes it would be costly. However i couldnt migrate as i have my family established in the UK.

I don’t understand why anyone born and raised in Uk would move permanently from a developed 1st world country to a third world country with a lot of issues. A lot of money that flows into Pakistan is from overseas Pakistanis. The government and authorities are so corrupt You can’t even make a decent living there without having strong connections or paying someone off. No equality of opportunity at all and worse still no real law and order.
Most well educated professional Pakistanis, as far as I know, are looking to move to countries where they can have a better life, good income and better outcomes for their children.
