I liked this way more than I was expecting. I doubt the ATP will be borrowing any of the rules from UTS anytime soon, but it's pretty fun for an exho. They have a nice balance between gimmicks for the fans and rule changes to make it interesting for the players.
Some really good ideas here at UTS. Audience involvement is great, shortened breaks in between points, maybe get rid of the nicknames? I'd love them to play for some ATP points in the future so that it actually matters. But as an exhibition match, this is fun.
I don't really care about the crowd engaging and taking part (shouts, screams, reacting during the rallies). I think it's fun and unique. But they definitively shoud get rid of the loud and annoying dubstep music BLASTING during points.
Loving Yibing's personality, it's great to see an Asian guy with personality on the tour finally! He's always had the weapons to compete off both forehand and backhand. If he's feeling his serves I believe he will be tough for many.
Dear Wu Yibing: You can take that same confidence and go far in the upcoming hard court tournaments and the US Open. You have the game. Stay focused and you can do it.
Taylor just seems to blow it in the end. All year he's fizzled out right in the end. Not sure what's going on with him. He wanted to win too much he actually lost. What a shame. Congrats to the champion.
I think the "only 1 serve" rule actually has potential. As Taylor says, playing safer serves leads to longer rallies - which is always more fun to watch. More exhausting for the players but overall good for the sport. Also the narrow net allowed for some crazy around-the-net shots, that seems fun too. I personally don't care much for the over the top "wrestling meets Superbowl" American style of presentation with non-stop music, these nicknames and the trash talking. Still, all in all kind of cool to see a format that tries new rules.
What is with these nicknames? The Great Wall for Wu? El Peque for Diego? That translates to Little Boy! Amazing the players would sign off on that. Bublik Enemy? It's practically derogatory. Not a good look. Nevermind the UFC/Michael Bay branding. Also the constant DJing nonstop throughout an entire match was way too loud and distracting.
What a comeback by Wu. Definitely going to be a dark horse in the future, attacking game style on both sides
China vs US prelude to WW3

I hated every second of it.

Agreed. Would also like to see them get rid of the music and crowd talking during the points. Other than that this format is good.
@@Seenbymo8219the whole point is it simulates a nfl game. The crowd makes the event fun
Couldn't agree less
nicknames = ew
the overall format is fun,really
especially the system of "cards"

I've really liked watching Yibing play. Crispy game.
That trophy could kill someone.
😂😂😂
It's so sharp, definitely could use as a sword 🗡️ lol
Yes, pretty sure it’s some kind of Klingon War Weapon.
How can you fly home with that? lol TSA def gona call him to the desk at the airport
@@j1mster3 Bruh lol My man Wu gonna have to ship that trophy home in a ship container 💀
Dude used his 3 pointer bonus, back fired, still took the match. Well done.

This looks pretty fun, definitely I could see myself watching more of it.
I like the concept of no 1st serves and crowd doesn't need to be quiet.
We were there and enjoyed every second! Yibing Wu is absolutely amazing! Hope they bring this format back next year!!

Wu's forehand is something to behold. If he can get a better serve then the skies the limit.
9:36 damn! 💀
Great fun format definitely suits a few players style more than others
Wonder what games Yibing plays
I bet he's a Fortnite gamer
PubG probably.
Tea games, probably.
Untitled Goose Game
Must be a Tennis video game

Great comeback and cool format. Did Yibing do a Son Heung Min celebration with his fingers after he won? :D
That trophy could kill someone
Fritz bottling in exhibitions too. Pain
His forehand and movement/agility is dogshit, not to mention weak mental strength.
@@nihilus1626bro he top 15 and has a master 1000. I think he good
Weird trophy. Fun to lift, but difficult to display
I felt like they don't need music for the sudden death of the finals. There is enough excitement already and it just distracts from the suspense.
the great wall of china doesnt fall
He is so good!

The Great Wall 😂
This is great tennis lol
BABBBBYYYYYY.. I WANT SOME YIBING BANG.. 🤪

El peque truly is his nickname
I imagine the players choose their own nicknames?
wu chose that name lmao
Fritz has lost his edge
Love everything here, ditch the nicknames tho
Omggg alleeeezzz UTS !!!
Go Wu 👏👏👏
Fritz always chokes in key moments. What happens when you're too privileged in life
Wu Yibing sounded so mentally weak when losing in the interviews but still won
大饼牛逼哈哈哈 二杀负离子😂😂😂
Taylor Fritz is no fun! Too serious for this style of tennis.
Calling this a "style" is a bit of a reach. More like an abomination.
🫰🫰🫵
whats with the 40% serves? get rid of the lame nicknames
Nick Kyrgios would be perfect for this.
Not enough people to spit at or hit
This is Soo embarrassing for tennis....who is the mad man who thought of this??
lighten up man
I loved every second of this.
oh no... how the hell Fritz lose from 2-0 to a communist?!
...bruh
omg wtf
cuz he is an imperialist, nobody likes imperialist
By kicking his ass, simple.
