- 🗣 Epic ! We had some blessed to have some of the greatest dancers to ever dance in the Bay Area come out for the "Dance A Lil Different (Smeeze)" Video shoot by Priceless Da ROC 🔥 The smeeze dance is created by Chonkie of the Turffienz.
🔑 While I was editing the Official Music video, I was so confused on what parts to leave in and take out because every single dancer was EPIC ! The Bay has always had a dope swag. I'm 50 and used to visit family there in the 70s and 80s and it was always lit. And I lived in NYC and DC. Love NY but the Bay is distinct.
@@cavaleer I’m in my 30’s now. I was in high school/early college when the hyphy movement first became mainstream. Being from northern Cali I was excited that the rest of the world could experience the vibe. Those were some great times to be able to go down to LA and still go dumb. It’s just fun energy. Hopefully it becomes big again, cuz it’s very much still alive and well here in the bay.

Best turf house parties was my block 96 Boss, Brookfield, 88th and Birch, 72nd Lacy, 82nd Mac and 11-5. Deep East parties was cranked mid 90s to mid 2ks. Our era created most of these gigs. Like we was doing most of this shit for the first time at a party or on the block. These was the Fonk Mob days when it was 70's to 11-5 clicking up at parties. That was the first time hella young niggaz from different turfs tapped in. It's why a lot of these young dudes can program with other blocks. Its hella politics behind just "giggn". 💪

The Bay Area has a whole different breed of people and everybody out there got respect and love for one another she growing up in the Bay Area it used to be tough just being where you was from but once people find out how cool you was it didn't matter where you was from it was all love all over so this is how it is in California the San Francisco Bay Area is surrounded by 25+ other cities and that's the place we call home the Bay Area so if you from Oakland San Francisco Richmond EPA Berkeley San Jose infections but we come together as one and form the Bay Area all that's home and we all love one another
