It is good to see variety in the vids. Great you are showing off the native chickens (emu's). It really conveys that just free camping without the eye candy gorges is just fantastic here being in the middle of nowhere, the basics of cooking a monster tasty steak can be the highlight of a day on an open fire.
Another great episode, thanks guys. What a lovely spot, another one to add to our bucket list. Loved your cooking segments, definitely going to try them on our next trip👍🏻
That place looks really relaxed and them steaks had my mouth watering watching you cook them mate!!!! Enjoy, keep the amazing adventures coming! Cheers 🍻
That looked like a beautiful station to stay at! Loved Liam with the marshmallows and the chocolate pudding, too funny 😂 All the cooking looked amazing 🤤
Wow. Another beautiful spot. There's nothing like food cooked on a fire 🔥. That was a great, relaxing episode to watch. I can't believe how vividly green the vegetation looked. You've certainly had a lot of rain over there lately though. Thanks guys.
Love cooking on the fire, but also tried to make sure thats not all this episode was. Yes plenty of rain, made for beautiful scenery on the ranges, really enjoyed our stay here
Oh I can’t believe you were so close to Port Augusta when we were there, I definitely would have popped out there to say hello! We will definitely spend a few nights at Catninga next year when we go back to SA, looks perfect! Which caravan park are you working at? Great episode once again, I wouldn’t have shared the marshmallows either Liam 🤣🤣
We were there weekend of the 18th september. Would recommend that place for sure, beautiful outlook. Flies did get a bit much on our last day though. Oh yes Liam doesnt share marshmallows 😅
Great Video Mark & Clem Just letting you know that I returned Back Home to Perth At 1:00AM this morning and unfortunately we didn’t quite make it to see the unwell family member, the family member passed away the night we were flying out. 😢😥😥😭😭 I have just rebooked my caravanning trip to Busselton, Pemberton, Albany & Esperance with the Ford Territory & Caravan and it’s on the 28th November. Hopefully the next week I will be putting a new exhaust on the Ford Territory it is a 3 inch Cat-back Exhaust & New Number Plates which will be Geelong Cats number plates. We originally were going to put the new number plates on when we came back and the new exhaust was a consideration. Caravanning Questions Q1 What channel do you use on the UHF to speak to other caravaners Q2 Since I Have got a Snorkel on the Ford Territory Will it also keep cool air into the engine while towing the caravan and how many river crossings are there in the southwest Q3 Since I Have got a Roof Rack which side should I put the 20 litre water tank, Tent & MaxTrax on on the roof rack Q4 How Many Wild Roos are there on the road to Busselton, Pemberton, Albany & Esperance and would I be safe if I hit one since I have a Bullbar on the Territory Q5 Since I Have Got an Awning on the Ford Territory should I use it at both the caravan park and the beach when we go fishing Q6 Can Clear-view Towing Mirrors be used as normal mirrors as well as towing mirrors, Because I have got Clear view Towing Mirrors on my Ford Territory
Im sorry to hear of your family members passing, very sad. Q1. I sit on channel 40 to speak to the truckies and pilot vehicles of wide loads. caravanners talking to each other is usually on channel 18, though we don't often chat to other caravanners by radio. Q2. having the higher intake is better, not sure if you will notice the difference but it will be better. I don't think you will come to any water crossings in the south west. Q3. with loading roof rack, see what works best for you, try and distribute the weight evenly. Q4. There could be lots, or there could be none you never really know, yes i believe it is safer having the bull bar but still not a guarantee of safety, avoidance is always better if safe to do so. try and avoid driving at dusk as that is when they seem to be most active. Q5. use it whenever it suits you, at most caravan parks you probably won't have room to use both caravan and car awning on your site. if its not windy down the beach, use it that's what its for. Q6 yes when they are retracted they are for normal use, extended for towing. they might take a little while to get used to reverse with as they are designed to see much more.
G'day Mark and Clem. Could you please share the name of this amazing spot. Is it on hipcamp or wikicamps Looks like I need to invest in a travel brai. Cheers Gav
Hey yes it is in the description, its called Catninga station. And yes thats the travel braii and we love it so far, found its a good size for what we needed
Hey guys, seriously considering the new age adventurer 19 non pop top. After all the travels has it held up good? Has the CRS suspension be pretty capable? Thanks
Hey mate, thats awesome. Yes ours has handled everything we have thrown at it without any major issues. We do a fair bit of prep inside before hitting rough roads, more so then others by what we have seen but it seems to work for us. The suspension seems to work really well partnered with lower thre pressures, its the physical size of the van that has limited us offroad before the suspension has, not much of an approach or descent angle 😅 So far yes, we have been happy with our choice and still have plenty of plans left in this van 👌🏻
Another Awsome ep guys … love the farm stay… 🍻🤙
Just what we were chasing!
You knocked that reverse sear out of the park! Bloody impressive for a first go
Cheers buddy, all thanks to you though 👌🏻 looking forward to having a fire again so i can try out a few other cookups.
What a beautifull spot ashame it's been raining but you will still enjoy it love you guys
We did still enjoy it!
Rain was better then the flies that came in!
Nice vid, geez im glad I had dinner before watching. Flinders Ranges is a magical place. Parachilna George etc.
We loved parachilna when we visited.
Wasn’t sure if you would like this one, tried to make sure it wasn’t all about the cooking though
