Seems ok for small part storage. Maybe fill it up with Gridfinity.

I specifically bought one to sit on my work bench...I turned it into a "complaint/opinion/what would you do different" box. At the end of the week, month or when ever i decide to get around to it I just open the drawers and greet the contents with my acetylene torch then i use the fire to heat up my "fuck you smores". Then enjoy em with a nice cold "im sick of this fuckin job" sicx pack, it honestly makes the following Mondwy morning a little more bearable

I bought 2 blue ones (they only had blue), but now I wanna try to get one in every color for fun.

I may pick up a couple of these for storing all my small flashlights. I do like the Arko-Mills small red ProBox Toolbox 09912, but these ones you are reviewing are a bit deeper (front to back). These could take uo less space and store more. Thanks for the review.

Take it out of the box in the parking lot before you leave and make sure you didn't get a dud. If you got a bad one take it right back in and exchange it. My two cents.

Is the 'Kobalt' logo a removable sticker or painted on? Thanks for the review.

The logo is painted on. Not a sticker.

Thanks for the review. Kind of what I expected, but ultimately I'm disappointed. Glad I wasn't /too/ interested in these, cute as they are. So, I think I'd still consider something small from Toyo Steel

Oh the Toyo ST350 ( definitely bigger than these though ) is such a damn amazing toolbox.

    Safer without ball bearings

Why safer? My first thought when using mine was that I should add ball bearings

Mac tools invented the idea (may have had it pattened) to have tool boxes with ball bearings on the drawers. Well, techs would get huge boxes and roll their tools around the shop (like a dealership type thing) and some shops would have drains for washing floors.. The boxes would tilt forward and all the drawers would open and the boxes were falling onto the mechanics. Mac was getting sued right and left .(It may have been Marco but it's been years)... so they got rid of it and boxes and people were safer. I was a mechanic for 50 years and there would be so many weird things. I hope this helps. @@mlghty

Exactly, and they're barely $20 so you can't expect that much and the one I bought back in July was much better than I expected for the money.
I currently use it to store some of my collection of vintage American made 1/4" ratchets.
