I have felt to sing the song of redeeming joy. It is transcendent and beyond description. My very spirit sought to sing praises to the Lord for his purchase of my soul from sin and hell. I felt a small portion of the pains my sins caused him in Gethsemane and it made me beg forgiveness again and again. I wanted to see the face if my Savior but was told to be the face of the Savior in this world, to reflect his love to others.

Joy (one word for joy, there are many) is Chedvah not Chemdah. Chemdah means coveting.

Seems like some disagree, though Chedvah does mean joy, for sure. www.biblestudytools.com/lexicons/hebrew/nas/chemdah.html#:~:text=desire%2C%20that%20which%20is%20desirable,pleasant%2C%20precious
