That building should have been kept up. You can tell it was neglected for many years. It doesn't get like that over night! What a shame! It's too late now cause the damage is done and it's best to knock it down and build a new structure instead of patching it up!

Pretty soon all of South Florida is gonna be like this. So sad. I used to live in Bal Harbour in an older bldg built in late 50's..made of concrete block. Not too many problems. Praying these people can find places to live! 🙏❤️

The property cannot be more than 25-30 years old. Horrible contractor. Not only to mention that Florida will be under water 💦 within the next two decades

That was Al Gore prediction 30 years ago and nothing happened. As a matter of fact Obama bought two properties on Islands. I guess he doesn't believe in the hoax of global warming 😅😅😅.

It is more than 30 years old. These units used to be rentals before it became a condo conversion in the 2000's

I thought the US said, these types of things only happen in china... I am not one bit surprised that the cheaply made buildings are deteriorating ...

Might as well move out of Florida. When it's over, it's over.

Used to be rental apartments on Pines Boulevard before the Condo conversion craze in the 2000's. Those who bought into this Condo conversion then made a deal with the devil. Following the '08 market crash, strategic defaults on the mortgages for these units, delinquent condo association fees, and likely association insolvency in the years since, this is what you get.

It's so clear these issues have been going on well over a year and nothing was being done about it. THAT was the time to save every penny, get more jobs, downsize, obtain boxes for packing. Never ..EVER...wait until the sign is on the door.

Looks like the cheapest built buildings made of sticks and stucco. You can't patch that crap.

These aren't renters, they're condo owners, which means their life savings are pretty much gone. They now own what will be a hole in the ground. They're going to be in the street.

🙄 go to the island, buy land and build your homes. Enjoy the nice sunshine beautiful beaches , some jamaican jerk chicken and a cold red stripe beer. Nothing else to worry about. That's how life should be.
