Please can you pray for my mum called joy at this current time?.. She is currently in hospice dying from a terrible lung disease. She is a Christian but has become terribly afraid and is suffering from panic attacks which make all of her symptoms worse. She is currently in a hospice right now with around the clock care...but still Really struggling. And today I saw her for the first time in 6 monthings. And it really hit me very hard. I want her to not be suffering and be in pain. I know the Lord is able to heal because he has already done it on the cross. But I really want the pain and discomfort That she's suffering to be gone. Please pray that all darkness is kept at Bay and away. Please pray that my mother's mind. Body soul and spirit are completely protected. And please pray that she is pain free and becomes comfortable and well enough to be moved back home , which is Where she wants to be the best thing that could happen. Is that the Lord completely heals her because I know that he is able to.
I prayed for her. Hope she got better. Or is getting better.

Asking them their testimony first is such a good idea!!! Someone’s testimony will immediately tell you a lot about what they think about the gospel (or if they even really know it!). As a Christian married woman in her 30s, I’ll also throw out there that if a man claims to be a Christian and yet doesn’t want children, I’d question whether or not he is really a believer. I know this is controversial but I truly think that a Godly man will believe Scripture where it says that children are a blessing, a heritage from the Lord. The Lord says that a man with many children is blessed! Not desiring children is a worldly thing that some in the church have adopted. Of course, infertility issues are NOT the same thing, obviously. I’m talking about a man who does not desire at all to have children. I’d be wary of that as a Christian woman. My husband and I were very thorough with our dating questions and it has proven over time to have been very helpful. My husband even asked me at the time about my opinion on doing Santa Claus with our children! Being thorough like that has led to way less conflict in our marriage and through our parenting.

I'm so confused now, because I was born and brought up in a faith where we are taught that wearing of makeup, perfume , jewelry etc is against the Biblical truth and we'll go to hell for that
we were taught in reference to
1 Peter 3:3-4 KJV

I was made to believe that I was ugly ever since I was young. I was invisible to people , even my families because I wasn't very good looking compared to my brother and my sister and so people always asked if I was adopted.
Everywhere I go, I was always questioned why I looked so different from my parents and siblings.
so I grew up very insecure of my looks, but however I stopped getting criticisms after I hit puberty. But the damage was done, I started feeling more confident with makeup and putting on apparel, jewelry.
But again I feel guilty cause it's literally discouraged in our church.
However I see alot of people on the internet who put on makeup, jewelry and still talk about God and their relationship.
I'm confused now
I struggle with this as well. I grew up very worldly. I now attend a holiness church. And they definitely follow 1 Peter 3. I still wear my wedding ring, but nothing else. It was definitely a very challenging change. I struggled and struggled. But I just had to keep asking God “what do you want from me? What would you like me to change?” And more and more each day, I felt fine not wearing makeup. Not saying this is the answer to everyone!!! So please don’t think I’m saying your wrong or anyone else is wrong. I’m just saying I had to just really ask God what I should do because I really didn’t know. And He is leading me everyday. Just let Him lead you!! 🥰❤️
I think the meaning of the verse is to tell you that instead of worrying about how you look, you ought to focus on growing an inner life w the Lord. For some people, things like clothes and jewelry and makeup can be a stumbling block so it's better to avoid it. But some people are able to wear what they wear without being conceited.
Also idk who told you were ugly because God doesn't make ugly things. Not only that, you were made in HIS IMAGE and since receiving him into your heart he dwells IN YOU just like he dwelt in the tabernacle in the OT.
You should be careful of the lies the enemy tells you bc you are certainly not invisible, God sees and cares for your every movement. You are not forgotten，he has plans for you to prosper and grow in him.

Gonna add this video to my favourites so I can rewatch it when I get a boyfriend. This roleplay felt so real to me because I also do my makeup very naturally, and hearing you say you would do my makeup like that made me feel as if we were in the same room together. PS I know that some people don’t have success with online dating but the Lord brought my wonderful, Christian husband to me in 2001 and got married 2 years later (and we met online) and so did my podcast cohost (also met online) with his wife and 2 babies later serving Jesus. ❤This June will be our 21 year anniversary. Perhaps online dating these days seems to be more about hooking up, sadly but there are always exceptions depending on the people and if they are genuine Christians and looking for the same. I would always love your lip gloss, and as a teen girl, I used to obsess over material items like makeup. Recently, I felt very convicted that I spent so much on myself without a thought of God's word. I learned through your videos that we should think long term and be mindful of our spending. In one of your videos, you mentioned that the media we consume can have an influence on us! I thought I would be okay even with watching something sweet and holy, but the enemy used it against me! I am grateful for what I have, and I love and appreciate the work you put into these videos. ❤ Always be careful when consuming any kind of media because the enemy is always out to get us. I got rid of social media before I met my husband and I was 2 years secluded and alone with Christ. I wanted God to just supernaturally place him in my life- and He did!! And when He did I still was hesitant. We’ve been married for almost a year and together for almost 2- and marriage is hard, it’s a constant denial of self- it’s literally being who Jesus was for the His bride.. but it’s the most character rewarding and many other natural rewards that far exceeds anything hard. I often think I prematurely got out of my singleness because of trauma- which I spent a lot of time healing from beforehand.. but idk some of my best times with Jesus was when it was just Him and I- learning to keep Him first in my marriage has been difficult because I am now a wife, mother, and step mother. If you’re single delight in it be glad in it enjoy it and cherish it because it really sets your marriage up for success because your foundation is solidified in Christ. And that is NEEDED for marriage. Thank you for sharing biblical dating.. so many things I agree with.
