This is a very nice meditation to start your day with confidence and optimism. I'm using it on a Sunday, which gives it an extra feeling of openous and space and freedom. Thank you my friend!
You can if you prefer or it's more comfortable for you. However, I recommend sitting upright to stay alert and attentive to the practice. If you find laying down doesn't affect that, it shouldn't affect the usefulness of the practice.
