The roller set finish was beautiful - loved the color too.
You know that you are an excellent beautician when your clients trust you enough to give them a new hairstyle or color. Those rollers are the best! I couldn't go back to using any other type of rollers. The same goes for the pins after I learned how to use them correctly. As always you did beautiful work.👏

How did you learn how to pin them correctly? They're always loose when I do it at home?
@@janlet627 The holes in the rollers are on the sides and not the center. I place a pin 📌 into either side from the back. The pin closest to my face seems awkward, but I replace it with the pin I use in the 2nd roller. The pins are long enough to pin 2 large rollers together. I hope that my explanation helps.

Looks great but why didn't you stop at the roller set. Why put additional heat to get the same look you can get with the rollers? I love the color.
I feel the same way. It felt like she was using far too much heat to in the end get the same results she would of gotten had she just brushed out the roller set.

All the people defending her use of a flat iron to “get the roots straight”, Ima just shut all that down & drop this UA-cam of a natural NOT using a flat iron and getting the same results. I’ll wait for you to stand corrected… 😏😂
I literally followed her method yesterday & my roots are straight, no flat iron needed, my hair is healthier than the girl in the video - no indirect PLUS direct heat. 👋🏽🎤
Sometimes these younger stylist just don’t have the training in older methods of hair styling & they damn sure can’t do ANY natural hair without a flat iron (🙄).
This was called a “doobie” back on the East Coast (I’ve heard women out West call it a Roller Wrap). Stylist did them ALL day in the 90s - only style my hairstylist did on me to keep my hair growing (and ALL the women’s hair grew, not just women like this one in the video who probably had long hair all her life, either 🙄). Flat irons weren’t always around & stylist still got our hair straight. Know your history.
