The idea that all of the TNG guys and gals still get together for dinner a few times a year and enjoy each others company makes the world a better place in my mind.
On another video I think it was Brent Spiner who said they are all on a group text. It is quite amazing because most actors aren't like that. Once the job is done they are onto the next one.
The ONLY crew of Star Trek to stay drama free, 100%. Sirtis said none of them have juicy "tell-all" memoirs to publish; it would just be "there once were 7 adults who loved and supported each other for 7 seasons, 4 movies, and still get together for dinners. The end." TNG had loads of drama behind the scenes, but none of it was *them*. And that, to me, has always been the best part.
I have also met with the original crew of the original Enterprise in the 60s William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy and a whole slew the other characters including the doctor the Helmsman and the Navigator I especially like talking with the communications officer Michelle Nichols
@@landline00 yes I would have still been interested in them as well as what they do on the show and off the show. As well as help them understand each other from a different point of view. And help them understand what they mean to many other people. Not just me.

When they played a a play up here on the University of Minnesota campus entitled "Every good boy does fine" . And it was a fantastic and wonderful experience. Dr. C. really is a great undersung character. Just think of an ep. like "Remember Me." It's a perfect ep., a perfect piece of science fiction, and it's all hers, and largely due to her performance as that character. And she's not the damsel in distress (due to son Wesley's experiment gone awry)--she's the woman of intelligence and action figuring out the conundrum.
@@jakerazmataz852to be contentious I preferred Polaski. The dynamic between her and Data was well worth exploring. She would have been an asset to the series. Dr C was just too annoyingly good. Even now I always skip her episodes when I watch SNG. Sorry folks !
THAT was absolutely amazing. There can be absolutely no doubt in my mind; they are the family we all want to have. That's an incredible role to be handed, and you have to make yourself worthy of it. Frakes absolutely nailed it. They all did.
They talk so openly about each other cause they actually share the stories with each other. Surprisingly Stewart said he had kept in touch with all of them since the show ended. But the more they go to these panels the more they probably travel and spend time with one another.
I'm a Trekkie from way back!! It was so gratifying to see them old like me and doing great!! What a show Picard is or was! I will watch it over and over the same way I watch Next Generation over and over and never get tired of it!
It's like watching a group of veterans telling old war story's you can feel the love and respect and I'm 50 now but remember seeing encounter at farpoint and being amazed by it and from Tasha yar going to when data saved Picard and perished to now with the show Picard it's been an amazing ride it's just that this maybe the last time we see the gang back together and that makes me sad and grateful at the same time so thank you the cast of the next generation for hours and hours of escapism for my imagination thank you :-) :-) :-) :-)
Entertainment is like that... working together for a month, or years...there's a never-ending bond over something that you created together. From on-off shows created on the fly, to YEARS in the same place, everything is unique and everything is 'the same'. Those days and times bond us together...
As a theater major I've never been so sure that you must have conflict always to have good drama. I found it so refreshing that the crew co-operated and counted on each other and trusted each other. They didn't think someone was crazy, e.g., if they started 'seeing' or hearing things that others couldn't, they believed them first time and banded together to figure out what was happening. Conflict, esp. in tv, can lead to one cliche after another and melodrama. This show was about civilized people who behaved honorably. There are always other ways of bringing in conflict that don't involve constant friction between core characters.
These folks are the epitome of joy! Without scripts, without ulterior motives for ads etc, they are all so naturally, spontaneously FUNNY and still bring me so much laughter and happiness, just ... hanging with them! And they give tribute to Gene Roddenberry, the creator of it all. Such extraordinary humans! Well done!♥
This was a wonderful, human, and enlightening view and new perspective on the interaction of the cast. I loved this. Thanks to all of you. I have a smile on my face.
Season " one " of Picard is just Trek awesomenss! Thank Terry and all involved to bring us fans Star Trek. Personally i don't recall being a season one and two.
My favorite 3 TNG characters were B. Crusher, Data, and Worf. Dr. Crusher going into tactical battle mode as Captain on bridge or in combat mode was a sight.. Data and Worf was their characters’ humors.
Guys, we need to start the official petition - get Michael Dorn more work. Immediately. How has this treasure remained on the sideline for so long??! He stole this entire season!
Season 3 of Picard contained some of the best episodes of any Star Trek ever. Seeing Dr. Crusher and Gates McFadden given the respect they did not get in the movies and to a lesser degree TNG was so satisfying.
First things first, Michael Dorn Aka 'Worf', you are my childhood Hero! Very much as well as LeVar Burton Aka 'Geordi La Forge' !! Mr Picard and Frakes, you already know I love you guys. Gates McFadden, WOW! Still beautiful as ever. I hope they all turn to The Holy Christ in their last days, it's all there really is at the end, but to each their own. With that said, it's always a pleasure seeing my fave cast of a show together!
Finest crew i ever got to enjoy watching the voyages with through television and film. As fans we are Blessed by these explorers of the cosmos ❤ thank you cast and crew of TNG
have to admit 3rd season is a delight to watch cause like gates says its good for all the characters even the new ones cause they plot develop everyone
They definitely have a bond that comes across loud and clear. If it wasn’t for that, TNG just wouldn’t have worked. So it’s easy to understand why they just couldn’t say goodbye even after TNG ended.
42:15 "what you've got to remember is the camera photographs thoughts" if only more actors knew this and were interesting to look at in thought... I love how much Frakes comes in with the elbow to Stewart, McFadden and Dorn's ribs during any of their stories or recollections. Very Riker-esque XD.

TNG got me through some rubbish years growing up
Me too.
Worf is my absolute favorite Character of all the franchises. I just love him! Micheal Dorn just does not age?????? How does he do that!
My guess is that Klingons don’t subscribe to aging
Constantly being roasted by his TNG castmates keeps him young 😂
klingons do not age.
he has got some good genes
His vegan diet and healthy living probably helps too! 😉
