You must have been watching me try to kite yesterday! All joking aside thank you for the info. I had planned on looking for videos on this exact subject over the next couple of days.

Just pee into the wind, if it lands on the ground do a forward, if it lands on your feet do a reverse, if you pee on your pants don’t fly 🤣

Forward when wind is 0-5mp. 6-10 reverse, after 10 stay on ground. 3-5 mph. winds are my target, forward launch and easy on my bad knees.

I'm on a Sky Flexor.... that thing just wants to fly, so I reverse unless it is totally dead calm 🤣 Before I last went out I actually had to come to youtube to remind me how to set up for a forward :p

Been doing this from day one. Have never turtled and never plan to. I prefer reverse launch. I almost never forward launch unless the wind is practically non existent.

Wind almost never makes to the field because of all the trees in NH. I've never reversed launched and don't even plan to learn unless I fly elsewhere.

I don't think the wind in my area is ever under 4 mph haha. What about landing in high winds. If a person doesn't get turned around fast enough could that turtle you too?

i like the reverse because you can see everything as it comes up.

most of my flying is reverse launch (helps that my wing will reverse with just a puff of wind), but forward is so much easier to get it up straight (as long as I can remember how to bloody clip in for a forward :p )

@@1978sjt you know it! for me reverse launch is better. sometimes when i am alone and wanna do some training i get a knot in my brain so i clip in reverse and then turn around without wing up to make sure its clipped in correctly! haha

my first launch was reverse! so was my second. I like them way better. My third was a forward and it worked fine.

I've done more reverse than forward, but my first was a forward ua-cam.com/video/e4JoGVZRVCY/v-deo.html
