Can't be understated how much I appreciate having these back, man. It's such a shame we didn't see everyone for Sora getting announced for Smash.
Trust me, if they allowed people there during the Sora reveal, that entire store would've came crashing down, lmao! But man....I still would had loved to see it.

It was an amazing close-up to this Direct in my opinion, it looks phenomenal. The Mario stuff was good in this meh direct, but its a good winding down of the Switch though despite the useless filling, I will admit. (FZero99 looks so good tho!!)

Nintendo remaking TTYD genuinely was the best surprise ever, I don’t think ANY of us were expecting it with especially how Paper Mario’s direction has been recently and we already have the Super Mario RPG remake to look forward too. Direct overall was ok but the TTYD remake really helped bring it up to an 8 at least for me!
Actually was rumored for a long time.
Not to mention we already have one remade RPG related Mario title on the horizon. No one would think for a second Nintendo was planting another RPG related remake! Wtf! I’m still in shock.

It's a ritual to come here after every direct.
If it's Nintendo, they will always celebrate but if it's third party, they will just boo right away. Some streamers that i watched really enjoyed Prince of Persia but everyone here booed it. Most people that i knew really excited for Tomb Raider Remastered. I myself excited for Horizon Chase 2.

It's not normal. It's also pretty telling that they don't respect or know the medium since Prince of Persia has had some great games since the 1980's.
Lol these guys aren't meant to be taken seriously in the first place. They were just there to cheer on every childish boring mario games nobody but simps care about just to comfort fellow simps through videos like this that it was not a mid direct (which indeed it was).

I remember seeing the Octo Expansion trailer get a relatively lackluster reaction out of a crowd like this. Happy to see that Splatoon has seemingly gained more respect since then, since this crowd seemed pretty loud about it :)

Is there a reason you guys are always standing in these Direct viewings? Does staff not allow yall to sit? I feel like it would be more comfortable and would also let everyone see the screen more clearly. Shorty with the white shirt in the back was STRUGGLIN.
Standing is better because more hype sitting down is less hype
They should’ve raised the screen to be higher because some people in the back can’t even see. Or at least put more monitors. Also increase the volume because the screaming makes them miss important info.

The Trombone Champ segment was cut out of this video due to copyright issues.
I hope everyone at this live event who had an NSO subscription downloaded and played F-Zero 99, so they can see that the game was worth the initial hype they displayed at the reveal.
I'm also kind of surprised about the legit hype around Mario vs. Donkey Kong, given the doom and gloom surrounding its leak from Donkey Kong fans. Then again, maybe they just liked seeing this series, and speaking for myself, I like that it's a remake of the first game, maybe this will encourage the series to be more like it rather than deviating and over-focusing on the Mini-Marios like it ended up doing.
I don't know why they were booing at Prince of Persia, but I'm going to assume it's because they know Ubisoft sucks and deserves to be booed (feel bad for anyone working there, TBH).
A shame there weren't more people aware of Another Code (AKA Trace Memory) to truly be hyped about the remake announcement, though it was wholesome to see everyone legit hyped over Princess Peach: Showtime! (especially when Peach first turns into Swordfighter Peach)

I think it was kind of disrespectful and I think people should let others like what they like. I think I would've felt a little disheartened if I was there. People can ruin experiences for others sometimes and I'm glad I wasn't there and was reacting at home. I'm very hyped about the new map! 😊
