It is easy to see why people would want Isagi in the 10 or CAM position. But don't forget strikers like Wayne Rooney. He had the ability to be all over the pitch but still bag tons of goals. Rooney wasn't the fastest or biggest striker but because he was good at everything with high football IQ, he became a legend. I see Isagi being a Rooney type of complete player.
I mean Rooney preferred to play CAM/false 9 because he felt as a striker he was disconnected from the play and he felt that his best years came from when he was in that role. So if you think Isagi is Rooney-esque, then CAM is still the right position for him.
rooney pretty rarely played striker he was more of a true number ten or a false 9 where he moved the ball up the field and assist the striker the like of rvp berbatov tevez etc. early in his career he kinda of played like a shadow striker and or the second option but there was always a true number 9 in the team and rooney played at the cam position sometimes even dropping deeper in the cm position. He is extremely underrated though and sacrificed a lot for the sake of the club
I have no disagreement here the only thing that I have to say is that I really think that rin would be good at the CAM position because his playmaking skills and ability to control players on the field is crazy. But I can also see him playing at the Striker position
Don’t forget Rin literally always made his goals with shots from outside the box apart from just one in the second selection. So would be a waste to play him as striker instead of someone like Shidou who is the penalty area and close surrounding space king.

I agree. Rin, Barou, Kunigami, and Shidou are pure 9 strikers who mostly wait for the ball to get to them. You should've included CM since Reo is more of a balanced type player that can roam around the midfield not just defensively but of course also in attack. Also I think Hiori and Sendou are more suited in CM, Hiori because he's like a deep lying playmaker because of his long balls and Sendou because of his runs that are actually underrated. His runs and positioning are his strong suit in attack that helped Barou bag one goal in Ubers. It was not clearly shown but Sendou made a run that made space for Barou to use Predator eye. His defensive capabilities are also good because of his fighting spirit, he's basically better Igaguri. I think he can be used by coaches as a player that exploits space and be a passing option to build up a play.
I kinda started liking how the ENTIRE community gaslights themself to believeing isagi is a CAM and worse as a striker than others. Because when we slowly reach the end all y'all will be surprised, meaning you won't lose your enthusiasm for the series even in the closing act
Isagi is suitable for a striker,even now. He relies on passes(striker trait),has great passing(for a striker), he has world class off the ball movements (striker trait) , doesn't have as good dribbling as a midfielder, he has world class offensive playmaking (striker trait), he has world class positioning(striker trait), world class both feet shooting(striker trait) , he also doesn't have as good as passing as a Midfielder, he isn't suited to be a Midfielder or a CAM, even kaiser goes on defense at the same times isagi does ,while he is the new gen 11 striker as well.

FYI, aside from goalkeeper, positions in football are divided vertically (defender, midfielder, forward) and horizontally (left, center, right). Strikers, defending and attacking midfielders, etc. are more of a role than a position.
Kunigami is the next Roberto Carlos, a powerful left shooter known as the most offensive minded defender ever. Slot him @ DMF/SB and move Kuni infield. Let him take those 30m shots bc even if it doesn’t net that’s deep penetration into the enemy’s third. Easy for say, Shido or Isagi to capitalize. On defense he’s physically capable of breaking up plays and forcing passes outfield. Conversely no opposing midfielder could press him. Japan doesn’t have too many options at his size on defense.
Not putting cm a incredibly used position in football and not lwb/rwb when that is definitely chigiri ‘s natural position is criminal. DM for players like lorenzo and CF for players like rin and sae would have been nice to. Edit: Rin is definitely not a fucking striker he is the perfect winger or cf/false nine.

I feel as though Sendou would be better suited as a CM. With a box to box playstyle as he causes problems in attack and comes in with clutch saves when defending. All he'd really need to do to complete his game would be to start scoring.

My changes to this yukimiya and Kurona to full back they already play those positions for bastard and ego likes his fb’s to take the ball forward, bachira to winger I’d rather him play in more space and only have to put in crosses where the striker has made themselves the clear answer for a goal, reo to cam I wanna see his copy used for peoples dribbling skills and mix that with the great passing, raichi to cdm I like 2 styles of cdm deep laying playmakers that can hold the ball (karasu) or destroyer types that cover tons of ground take the ball and cover mistakes (raichi) also cdm like that requires the most stamina of everyone on the field, tokimistu to cdm that physicality and stamina especially is why I prefer him to be cdm over cb cb’s just aren’t moving as much as cdms, niko would go down to cb for me, rin I would like to see in cam because skill set and the abundance of current strikers, lastly I would actually prefer a pure cm role as well and let that be for reo and hiori

Rin at ST is a waste of his full potential. CAM is his position. He can use everything in his locker at CAM. Also isagi at cam makes no sense. In order for him to run back and forth from defence to attack he needs to be a box to box CM. Karasu is the camavinga of blue lock. CDM is definitely his position. Also raichi is best at CDM because he has a fuck ton of stamina as mentioned in the manga. That would be wasted in CB unless his manager plays high line defence
Isagi is freest to do what he wants to do at as like a Libero ST. For b2b you want Tokimitsu or Kurona. Far as all else I agree 100%. Imo Gagamaru should play up a bit and form a back line with 2 CBs, 2 WBs and a CDM. He can really throw it. & in cases of Aiku or Raichi marking an ace, or a counterattack he can inch up.
I like Karasu and Reo more at a box to box CM position gives them room to roam forward and become real rolls royce types. Zantetsu at wide midfield position but in a 3 352 type system. Bachira def at left wing but he plays as an inverted playmaker (we saw during the 2nd selection that his understanding can make people way better). Raichi proper CDM destroyer type. Sharkboy at a CM role but like specifically like a carrilero type thing definitely can't be a winger in my eyes because he lacks the 1v1 ability. Isagi at CF as a false 9 type. Tokimitsu fullback pure kyle walker the type that can storm up the pitch or tuck in for a back 3. Aryu....let me cook--backup keeper. Agree with Niko at CDM. Barou, Kunigami and Shidou at striker. Hiori I'm putting as a free 8 type CM. Nagi hot take is he could do bits in a deeper midfield role because his touch makes him press resistent but he's basically too limited as a footballer to play anywhere but striker so im conflicted.

I thibk ARYU would be a fantastic goalkeeper but everything else on this list is perfect. If you added just a plain CM instead of only CAM and CDM then I would but Reo at CM but he’s perfect as a CDM

@xstriiker1418 I know Bachira has those traits. My point is that Bachira is a central dribbler. Unlike Chigiri or Yukimiya, who need space and player isolation (because they're more rigid dribblers), Bachira is unpredictable and imaginative that he dribbles right through crowded areas. Even when he played as a fullback, he never went wide in order to cut inside like the Vini Jr. example you pointed out (which is my next point). Bachira doesn't have the shooting range (or does but doesn't use it) to be a goal threat from wider positions. Unlike Chigiri, Zantetsu, or Yukimiya, most of Bachira's goals come from within and around the box and in central areas. Whether it's the Bee shot or chipping Gks with a rabona, most of his goals are 1V1s near the box. And talking about pace, which we know Bachira isn't really known for (Chigiri, Yukimiya, Otoya, Kurona, Zantetsu, Tokimitsu are all faster than him. Heck, we could even put Barou and Kunigami on that list), it'd wasting that spot to make him a winger. More so, considering the general defensive responsibility of wide forwad players to cover their wings in the defensive phase, Bachira's marking/tackling/recovery skills are average at best. Even when he played as a defender, I can't remember a point where he actually won the ball from anyone. Lastly, this new version of him is very good at being unpredictable by creating freestyle chemical reactions with players around would be wasted if he played on the flanks. At Barcha, every attacking play starts and ends with him and playing him wide doesn't help him achieve that in any way. So playing him as a winger is basically sacrificing everything that makes him tick just so he crosses the ball. I'd say his best position would be a kind of false 9 or shadow striker
@@tanatswamakara4700 firstly, Bachira is fast. What he said about pacing is correct. Bachira dribbling like he does in the central area increases risks for turnovers, and doesn’t imbalance the defense. To stop Bachira on the wing you have to pull defenders east or west, which THEN would allow for a speedster like Chigiri to take advantage of the now open space. You wouldn’t be able to play like that with him in the middle. Bachira doesn’t need a golden zone or as much range as Chigiri, simply for the reason that you said. His job is to eat up grass and 1v1 the last defender near the goal line, if he does have to score. And he’s one of the better in-rhythm passers that can go beyond a striker’s imagination. His only knock is defense and for that matter Chigiri could use some improving as well.
@noa4038 that could work. From what I've seen of Bachira, that'd be a waste, though. I think there's more benefit in tearing down the opposition's defensive right down the middle (as his dribbling will and has definitely attracted a lot of defenders to him, freeing up a lot of space for wingers, other midfielders and strikers) than the risk of turnovers. Dribbling out the wings is easier to stop as the opponent can just double up on you with 2 players whilst using the touchline as the 3rd man. Furthermore, Bachira is BLs best dribbler for a reason. He almost always dribbles past 4 or five players, whether they're surrounding him or they're coming at him in sequences, so his ball-keeping skills are possibly the best (with Karasu being the exception). So, the risk of losing possession is quite low. So difficult is he to stop that even in flashbacks the only way to stop him when he's on the ball was to foul him. Team V tried the same in the first selection. In the 2nd Selection, Isagi claimed it was virtually impossible to stop Bachira whilst he has the ball at his feet. As for the point of him blocking off other attackers' paths, that wouldn't happen because Bachira often drops deep or orchestrates his plays from deep. Furthermore, because he's both a great dribbler and playmaker, he can't be left alone with the ball but at the same time he forces opponents to commit more men to him. That automatically attracts defenders to him (just look at the space he freed up for everyone else on Rin's team when he started dribbling down the middle in the 2nd Selection. He drew in 4 players to mark him, AND THEY STILL COULDN'T TAKE THE BALL. Another example is when he tore open a hole in the Japan u20 team BY HIMSELF. Same with his goal against Team V and that last counter in the same match. From a passing perspective, putting him wide greatly limits his pass trajectories to crosses and cross-field diagonals, essentially cutting of his more frequent freestyle chemical reaction one-twos (we've seen how lethal central one-twos are from Isagi x Kurona's Planet Hotline, Nagi x Reo's passing combinations, Isagi x Hiori's passing combos, Isagi x Rin pasing combos, or even Otoya x Karasu) with Otoya/Lala which, from what we've seen produce results. More so, as a playmaker, you've generally got both a wider field of vision and wider range of passing from the centre than from out wide. And also, a lot of passing combinations (whether it be passing triangles, diamonds, channel passes etc) As for defending, unlike Bachira, we've actually seen Chigiri do some solid defensive work both as a defender and as a winger

Regarding Bachira cutting through down the middle, I personally prefer Tokimitsu or Kurona in that box-to-box style, working upfield with a Rin or Isagi-type of player, or even those two together. I say this for two reasons. Tokimitsu has the physique, an infinite stamina bar, and his play becomes increasingly effective the *more* desperate he is. This is invaluable in recovering loose balls or being pressed. For Kurona, his ability to orbit around players much smarter than he is with magnetic precision. His lobs arc over even the likes of Aryu and had no issues versus a respected Ubers defense. Bachira’s new read-and-react counter dribble style puts him at an advantage on the wing, imo. With his back to the line his field of vision becomes a much more acute cone shape that he can play off. In the case of a being sandwiched Bachira’s cross passes are beautiful. That flexibility is the weakness into a strength that we want. Last point on defense, no contest haha. Chigiri’s absolute weapon is better suited for defense on the wing. But Bachira’s ball sense is great in situations where you need to recover - on the wing is more of an island far as help coming in that regard. So either or has value, imo. Only Zantetsu gets 4 stars for me as with that acceleration he can effectively impact the game in both of those ways.

He relies on passes(striker trait),has great passing(for a striker), he has world class off the ball movements (striker trait) , doesn't have as good dribbling as a midfielder, he has world class offensive playmaking (striker trait), he has world class positioning(striker trait), world class both feet shooting(striker trait) , he also doesn't have as good as passing as a Midfielder, he isn't suited to be a Midfielder or a CAM, even kaiser goes on defense at the same times isagi does ,while he is the new gen 11 striker as well.

FYI, aside from goalkeeper, positions in football are divided vertically (defender, midfielder, forward) and horizontally (left, center, right). Strikers, defending and attacking midfielders, etc. are more of a role than a position.
Kunigami is the next Roberto Carlos, a powerful left shooter known as the most offensive minded defender ever.
Slot him @ DMF/SB and move Kuni infield. Let him take those 30m shots bc even if it doesn’t net that’s deep penetration into the enemy’s third. Easy for say, Shido or Isagi to capitalize.
On defense he’s physically capable of breaking up plays and forcing passes outfield. Conversely no opposing midfielder could press him. Japan doesn’t have too many options at his size on defense.

I feel as though Sendou would be better suited as a CM. With a box to box playstyle as he causes problems in attack and comes in with clutch saves when defending. All he'd really need to do to complete his game would be to start scoring.

My changes to this yukimiya and Kurona to full back they already play those positions for bastard and ego likes his fb’s to take the ball forward, bachira to winger I’d rather him play in more space and only have to put in crosses where the striker has made themselves the clear answer for a goal, reo to cam I wanna see his copy used for peoples dribbling skills and mix that with the great passing, raichi to cdm I like 2 styles of cdm deep laying playmakers that can hold the ball (karasu) or destroyer types that cover tons of ground take the ball and cover mistakes (raichi) also cdm like that requires the most stamina of everyone on the field, tokimistu to cdm that physicality and stamina especially is why I prefer him to be cdm over cb cb’s just aren’t moving as much as cdms, niko would go down to cb for me, rin I would like to see in cam because skill set and the abundance of current strikers, lastly I would actually prefer a pure cm role as well and let that be for reo and hiori

Rin at ST is a waste of his full potential. CAM is his position. He can use everything in his locker at CAM. Also isagi at cam makes no sense. In order for him to run back and forth from defence to attack he needs to be a box to box CM. Karasu is the camavinga of blue lock. CDM is definitely his position. Also raichi is best at CDM because he has a fuck ton of stamina as mentioned in the manga. That would be wasted in CB unless his manager plays high line defence
Isagi is freest to do what he wants to do at as like a Libero ST. For b2b you want Tokimitsu or Kurona. Far as all else I agree 100%. Imo Gagamaru should play up a bit and form a back line with 2 CBs, 2 WBs and a CDM. He can really throw it. & in cases of Aiku or Raichi marking an ace, or a counterattack he can inch up.

I like Karasu and Reo more at a box to box CM position gives them room to roam forward and become real rolls royce types. Zantetsu at wide midfield position but in a 3 352 type system. Bachira def at left wing but he plays as an inverted playmaker (we saw during the 2nd selection that his understanding can make people way better). Raichi proper CDM destroyer type. Sharkboy at a CM role but like specifically like a carrilero type thing definitely can't be a winger in my eyes because he lacks the 1v1 ability. Isagi at CF as a false 9 type. Tokimitsu fullback pure kyle walker the type that can storm up the pitch or tuck in for a back 3. Aryu....let me cook--backup keeper. Agree with Niko at CDM. Barou, Kunigami and Shidou at striker. Hiori I'm putting as a free 8 type CM. Nagi hot take is he could do bits in a deeper midfield role because his touch makes him press resistent but he's basically too limited as a footballer to play anywhere but striker so im conflicted.

@xstriiker1418 I know Bachira has those traits. My point is that Bachira is a central dribbler. Unlike Chigiri or Yukimiya, who need space and player isolation (because they're more rigid dribblers), Bachira is unpredictable and imaginative that he dribbles right through crowded areas. Even when he played as a fullback, he never went wide in order to cut inside like the Vini Jr. example you pointed out (which is my next point).
Bachira doesn't have the shooting range (or does but doesn't use it) to be a goal threat from wider positions. Unlike Chigiri, Zantetsu, or Yukimiya, most of Bachira's goals come from within and around the box and in central areas. Whether it's the Bee shot or chipping Gks with a rabona, most of his goals are 1V1s near the box.
And talking about pace, which we know Bachira isn't really known for (Chigiri, Yukimiya, Otoya, Kurona, Zantetsu, Tokimitsu are all faster than him. Heck, we could even put Barou and Kunigami on that list), it'd wasting that spot to make him a winger.
More so, considering the general defensive responsibility of wide forwad players to cover their wings in the defensive phase, Bachira's marking/tackling/recovery skills are average at best. Even when he played as a defender, I can't remember a point where he actually won the ball from anyone.
Lastly, this new version of him is very good at being unpredictable by creating freestyle chemical reactions with players around would be wasted if he played on the flanks. At Barcha, every attacking play starts and ends with him and playing him wide doesn't help him achieve that in any way.
So playing him as a winger is basically sacrificing everything that makes him tick just so he crosses the ball. I'd say his best position would be a kind of false 9 or shadow striker
@@tanatswamakara4700 firstly, Bachira is fast. What he said about pacing is correct. Bachira dribbling like he does in the central area increases risks for turnovers, and doesn’t imbalance the defense. To stop Bachira on the wing you have to pull defenders east or west, which THEN would allow for a speedster like Chigiri to take advantage of the now open space. You wouldn’t be able to play like that with him in the middle. Bachira doesn’t need a golden zone or as much range as Chigiri, simply for the reason that you said. His job is to eat up grass and 1v1 the last defender near the goal line, if he does have to score. And he’s one of the better in-rhythm passers that can go beyond a striker’s imagination. His only knock is defense and for that matter Chigiri could use some improving as well.
@noa4038 that could work. From what I've seen of Bachira, that'd be a waste, though. I think there's more benefit in tearing down the opposition's defensive right down the middle (as his dribbling will and has definitely attracted a lot of defenders to him, freeing up a lot of space for wingers, other midfielders and strikers) than the risk of turnovers. Dribbling out the wings is easier to stop as the opponent can just double up on you with 2 players whilst using the touchline as the 3rd man.
Furthermore, Bachira is BLs best dribbler for a reason. He almost always dribbles past 4 or five players, whether they're surrounding him or they're coming at him in sequences, so his ball-keeping skills are possibly the best (with Karasu being the exception). So, the risk of losing possession is quite low. So difficult is he to stop that even in flashbacks the only way to stop him when he's on the ball was to foul him. Team V tried the same in the first selection. In the 2nd Selection, Isagi claimed it was virtually impossible to stop Bachira whilst he has the ball at his feet.
As for the point of him blocking off other attackers' paths, that wouldn't happen because Bachira often drops deep or orchestrates his plays from deep. Furthermore, because he's both a great dribbler and playmaker, he can't be left alone with the ball but at the same time he forces opponents to commit more men to him. That automatically attracts defenders to him (just look at the space he freed up for everyone else on Rin's team when he started dribbling down the middle in the 2nd Selection. He drew in 4 players to mark him, AND THEY STILL COULDN'T TAKE THE BALL. Another example is when he tore open a hole in the Japan u20 team BY HIMSELF. Same with his goal against Team V and that last counter in the same match.
From a passing perspective, putting him wide greatly limits his pass trajectories to crosses and cross-field diagonals, essentially cutting of his more frequent freestyle chemical reaction one-twos (we've seen how lethal central one-twos are from Isagi x Kurona's Planet Hotline, Nagi x Reo's passing combinations, Isagi x Hiori's passing combos, Isagi x Rin pasing combos, or even Otoya x Karasu) with Otoya/Lala which, from what we've seen produce results. More so, as a playmaker, you've generally got both a wider field of vision and wider range of passing from the centre than from out wide. And also, a lot of passing combinations (whether it be passing triangles, diamonds, channel passes etc)
As for defending, unlike Bachira, we've actually seen Chigiri do some solid defensive work both as a defender and as a winger

Regarding Bachira cutting through down the middle, I personally prefer Tokimitsu or Kurona in that box-to-box style, working upfield with a Rin or Isagi-type of player, or even those two together.
I say this for two reasons. Tokimitsu has the physique, an infinite stamina bar, and his play becomes increasingly effective the *more* desperate he is. This is invaluable in recovering loose balls or being pressed. For Kurona, his ability to orbit around players much smarter than he is with magnetic precision. His lobs arc over even the likes of Aryu and had no issues versus a respected Ubers defense.
Bachira’s new read-and-react counter dribble style puts him at an advantage on the wing, imo. With his back to the line his field of vision becomes a much more acute cone shape that he can play off. In the case of a being sandwiched Bachira’s cross passes are beautiful. That flexibility is the weakness into a strength that we want.
Last point on defense, no contest haha. Chigiri’s absolute weapon is better suited for defense on the wing. But Bachira’s ball sense is great in situations where you need to recover - on the wing is more of an island far as help coming in that regard. So either or has value, imo. Only Zantetsu gets 4 stars for me as with that acceleration he can effectively impact the game in both of those ways.
