I had this same idea years ago for heating a green house. I heat my shop with a rocket stove. I even put pipe in the floor but someone crushed it during the concrete pour so never got to use it. What are you going to use underground? I have seen cement block used but it seems it would slow the flow. Regular heat duct will crush unless covered with wood or steppingstones. I am thinking about also doing this. Looks like you get to be the test case. Good luck

Using 8" warm air pipe. I'll be adding something on top to help with that issue.

I have seen well pipe used too. Strong enough not to be crushed by most anything and conducts heat very well...
