I recently did the bearings on a ducati rear hub. Its very easy, the old bearings can be chiseled out. The new ones just slide in (freezer for a couple hours) when you heat the bearing bore to 100 degrees Celsius(check it with a temperature sensor). Be sure to hold the bearing in place with your fingers until the hub shrinks back to normal, then do the other bearing. If you don't want to do it like that, TROdesigns sell a machined aluminum bearing driver for this job. For all the rest around the hub, the service manual is golden. Be sure to have circlip pliers with forged tips. Its also a good idea to throw the rear axle in a ultrasonic bath and get it all shiny again with some metal polish and purchase a new inner distance piece(the cylinder which pushes inside the needle bearing) which is usually all burnt up. If your axle is stuck in place because it was never out, you have to hammer it out from left to right side, after you do everything it will just slide in an out like nothing.
