Hello everyone! I want to thank you for the enthusiasm shown on my very first video. As an amateur pianist I am surprised and humbled by this warm reception and sure it motivates me to keep up posting. Since the 5k views milestone is now surpassed I am sharing, as promised, the handwritten section I transcribed for the close-to-the-end section (you weren’t expecting a finely edited file were you?:) I hope it helps getting the handle of it and make you enjoy the piece even more 😉. All the best and see you soon. Link → ibb.co/WcMcjhk
This is one of those pieces of music that get below- or above - conscious hearing and do strange things to your subconscious. You have done an incredibly beautiful job, both recording and playing. Thank you 🙏🏻
@@alexpiano j'ai téléchargé la partition, et je me plonge dedans ; J'ai regardé aussi la video de Olaffson, il n'utilise pas le même doigté, je m'interroge.
Thank you! Really? You refer to the ending part I suppose? I didn't know this was his particular version but I really liked it and since it did not appear in my partition from Stradal I decided to manually transcribe it. If you or anyone else is interested I could share the transcribed part it the video reaches say 5000 views. Cheers.
@@feiwang6584 thank you! You can find it on IMSLP. The only section I hand transcribed are a few lines by the ending. I'll share a screenshot of it soon.
Très, très belle interprétation, je joue cette magnifique transcription de Stradal, mais avec la délicatesse d'un déménageur de piano, votre sensibilité est subtile. Merci pour les doigtés, j'ai l'impression que les vôtres sont plus simple que les miens.
Thanks a lot! I didn't.. in fact I'm not really familiar with vst honestly. The wav track recorded already sounded decent to me, so there's no sound editing at all :) Cheers!
Hola amigo!!!
I guess 2nd voice part quarter note is played as trill. In baroque music, sometimes long note is played like trill, because harpsichord cannot make long tone.
I'm looking for sheet music for this piece but I cannot find any for this particular version. Can someone please let me know where I can get the sheet music for this exact version, please, I would really appreciate it.
Hello, you can check the description with a link to the final section I transcribed. I hope it helps. The rest came more or less from IMSLP. Have a nice day.
I googled and found it. You can downloaded this very version for a couple of bucks and then print it yourself as separate sheets, or order a book which they print for you for about 15 bucks. The book comes in about a month but in a form of a book!!! not sheets!
The solemn comfort of this performance is an order of magnitude
4:26 That's why Bach is supreme and divine
Yes, absolutely, and indeed!
Bach is always spiritually transcendent but in this work, his humanity also shines through so achingly and piercingly.

Can someone explain to me why the final section is played like that?
I think it's just an improvisation.
I guess 2nd voice part quarter note is played as trill.
In baroque music, sometimes long note is played like trill, because harpsichord cannot make long tone.

Looks easy, but hard
It is very Hard yes ❤
Sounds like Busoni
Wow! I'm not sure I'd go that far but I appreciate it ;)
As you know, Busoni did several Bach transcriptions for piano.
You might master them.

The classy freon summatively question because freon notably twist for a crazy gymnast. dazzling, groovy trip
Wonderful piece and interpretation. The piano is out of tune though.
Curious, the piano🎹 being electric, I'll listen again carefully
@@alexpiano I may be out of tune just as well. The playing is flawless nevertheless.
