Beautiful little vid John, nice to see you up & dangerous again! The Hindi is looking a beautiful set up, you'll no doubt give us a good round down once you've got a few Kms under the Belt! You need to pack more Guiness if you're taking the boss with you 😅
Good to see you out in the rig camping and cooking food. Your a big inspiration to my off road journey and it makes me happy to see your still out doing it.
I am the you Rooth living in SA. It's just after midnight here and I'm loving to watch you from the Milo days till now. Beautiful Mahindra built you have and I have thee Mahindra Thar. Keep cooking.💯💯🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Oh yeah. I just saw an enormous storm go through while I sheltered in a Perth hotel but it was nothing compared to last night while another system passed over my little house in Meckering! I'm going to have to try that bacon & egg pizza too ......
Any beer in a clear glass isn't real beer lol Edit: I take it back when I saw the guiness). Love ya guys. Nice touring rig. Love the reversed tent so you can get out on the rack. You can get out and pee off the car at night! haha Cheers. P.S. It's green and that's what matters
Not sure on brand - bought it from Wynnum Army Disposals, and I've seen the same thing in other good disposals shops like the one in Goulburn nsw. Trenching tool so mit's handiy for almost everything.
A handbrake that drinks Guinness, you've got a good one John, good on her. Your fault John, you weren't carrying enough, I'm on her side. Shame you didnt have "smell - a - vision", I reckon we'd all enjoyed that meat sizzling away. One thing that became apparent here, not brought up at Rybuck, that is with the RTT Awning tension support arm in place, it pretty much hinders your access, transfering from ladder to roof rack patio. Whats your thoughts on that once you have actually lived with it. In hindsight, you should have had a Guinness on hand as you stopped to load the Guzzi on the trailer. You'd have a content handbrake on route home, haha. I'm a thinking man, Wealie.
Yes, next time we dopn't pick up a bike there'll be a fridge full handy! Good thinking Ian - access isn't hindered but tensioning awning means cutting across tent stay so there'll be some adjustments - the verandah idea is great, somehwere to put muddy boots!
Handbrake did alright with the phone camera Roothy! I just fed my mobile phone to the Sharks. You've inspired me to record videos when I get my new one😅
A John wonder if you ever talk to graham Harris about your mahindra ,he had a bad run,now he sold it,I reckon some time a lemon come of the shelf like bad fruit from a tree.
I think they have some m,ore coming - Dynamic are on the ball and realise they'll need to stock up on Mahindra stuff nowe there's oklenty omn the road.
It's a Runva 13 Pro - and they're an excellent winch, best value for money for the durability and strength. Desigtned by people who actually know about winching too!!! I used plenty of winches - these are the best without getting stupid on price and features you don't need.
HEY ROOTHY ! When they BAN internal combustion engines & allow only ELECTRIC CARS are you going to get a PUSH BIKE or a bunch of CAMELS ? I'd go the camels. No flat tyres.
titles a bit misleading, i came to see an offroad trial of the calcutta cruiser, and ended up watching a cooking show? should of saved that roast 15 minutes earlier- practically cremated it, brekkie looked good though
Who gives a fuck what people drive. If it gets you outside livin' then do it. Too much emphasis on gear rather than places and experiences nowadays anyway.
Right, so one of those Japanese trucks made in Thailand might be better, or a Wobbly made in Argentina, or maybe a Chinese tank made in china - get with reality mate, Indian engineering is strong and simple compared to the rest.
Going from a 1970’s vehicle to something with air on you would feel like it’s and upgrade. Nothing personal mate but keep the Mahindra - I’m sure it suit the need but getting a little too pressy on the whole ‘Mahindra is the best thing’. Makes you look bought and paid.
I guess I'm suffering from new vehicle love too much eh? Probl;em is so few modern vehicles have any character now they're all madfe in the same factories - still loving this one tho!
I like watching you cook Ruthy
Always happy to see you two together out camping and sharing the beers happy wife happy life ❤
Yep, there's not much better that's for sure! Gotta take her to some of the places she missed -
@@JOHNROOTHROOTHY ha Roothy, I've missed those places too, yah can take me along as well, but I refuse to be your happy wife 🤪
Hahaha, Wealie.
I could see the trailer being used to carry a 2WD Ural.....Hmmmm....the Handbrake is so lucky to have a great man who can cook....bless you both.
Good to see you two out and about 👍
Awesome vid Roothy! Cool to see a more simple camping setup and the more accessible things that us regular folk might use rather than the latest gear!

More Guinness noted! I'm loving the revamped Mah - does everything we need so far without a drama. Hides in the bush beautifully too -
Lovely ep and places and cook ups, Love the new 4wd and set up.
Awsome adventure time ✨️✌️🦅
You guys make me happy! Enjoyed this video.
Thank you!
On ya Roothy - still cooking up a storm!
Good to see you out soaking up the bush. How good is a outback storm
Couyldn't agree more, especailly if it dumps, leaves and the sun comes out again. Sheer Mother bliss.
Cracking vid Roothy….Setup looks fantastic, looking forward to seeing future touring episodes with it.
Yep, more touring for sure coming up - it's what we do! A bit of tuning on the set up coming but that's always the case eh -
Good to see you out in the rig camping and cooking food. Your a big inspiration to my off road journey and it makes me happy to see your still out doing it.
Thanks mate - it's very hard to stop! Love going bush.

Coming up Paul - just got to keep the Handbrake in Guinness...
Roothy the man the legend, good to see the great set up and your lovely lady keeping you in line LOL 😜
I'm lucky to have her, but not as lucky as she is to have me - hahahahaha
This meal , good company & the smell of rain storms out in the bush , bloody awful situation John .. 😉
Hang in there Karen .. safe travels.

Great video good to see you doing a cooking segment again i miss them
Karen reckons we should do more bush cooking - I thjink we need more Guinness then...
that roast looks soooo good
It was mate, it really was!
What a nice clip John. Love the cook up and brekkie didn't look bad either
Hey Roothy that rig looks fantastic.
Yep, and so far it's proving real easy to use too. Loving it!
Always love a Roothy cookup. Hey mate I saw Milo 2 last weekend at the Townsville show. She was there with the Terrain Tamer boys. Good bunch of lads.
Yep, she sure went to a good home!
Gee i thought that egg/ bacon pizza wad goner not stick .to the base .well JR .ROOTHY .
I know it's late but xxxx I'll do it when it's a bit dryer bloody rain all the wood wet
Make the most of what yopu got I reckon!
Nice video Roothy Good to see you back travelling again.
And we'll be into it again now I've got new knees. See you oout there!
I want Milo!
Great to see you out'n'about again, love the banter and the Mahindra looks good too. Milo 3?
Should be called The Mozzie Coil!
Not sure on a name yet - they have to earn that wityh time!
Love it how’s the car travelling
youve sold your soul mate
Yeah, I sure hate being comfortable now I'm old and still gpoing bush....
Oh yeah. I just saw an enormous storm go through while I sheltered in a Perth hotel but it was nothing compared to last night while another system passed over my little house in Meckering! I'm going to have to try that bacon & egg pizza too ......
Mother Nature at her best - playing up!
Great vid roothy
Love your Woody Woodpecker laugh John! Gotta be a certain age to understand....
Hahaha aaa - yep, remember that well! Certain age must mean old then??
Fantastic video but the only down side is its too short :( Lovely colour and great setup. Inspiring thru exploring, thanks mate.
More clips coming - we're getting back to where we should be, up a track!

P.S. It's green and that's what matters
Were you looking?? Bugger.....
Now Iknow what my Mindy S6 Karoo 4x4 d/c is going to look like! What is the name of that beautiful green paint color on te Mahindra?
It's a Landcover colour, Sherwood Green I think - go the Mindy!
Gee wiz mate your cooking always looks good pity it ain't smell vision or tasty vision 😂 but definitely got my mouth watering
Not taking back a bike are we lol😂
Nice and rugged shovel / pick. What brand is that ?
Mahindra pikup❤❤
Not sure on brand - bought it from Wynnum Army Disposals, and I've seen the same thing in other good disposals shops like the one in Goulburn nsw. Trenching tool so mit's handiy for almost everything.
Looks beautiful with its modifications and that colour should come as standard I think. How did your fuel economy change with the new mods?
So far the fuel's about the same as it was with the tent just on the roof. Drops from 12km/l to 9 pretty quickly at speed over 105km/h tho.
A handbrake that drinks Guinness, you've got a good one John, good on her.
Your fault John, you weren't carrying enough, I'm on her side.

Tomorrow with God's blessings Iam also going to purchase the Mahindra Scorpio Classic
Handbrake did alright with the phone camera Roothy! I just fed my mobile phone to the Sharks. You've inspired me to record videos when I get my new one😅
Hahaha - they don't handle water do they - don
t need much to get a good result these days.
A John wonder if you ever talk to graham Harris about your mahindra ,he had a bad run,now he sold it,I reckon some time a lemon come of the shelf like bad fruit from a tree.
Yes, I know Graham and he's a good bloke with a lot of machine experience. He did have a bad run, hopefully a lemon - which can happen with anything,
Are those Sunraysia in stock at 4wdindustral roothy
I think they have some m,ore coming - Dynamic are on the ball and realise they'll need to stock up on Mahindra stuff nowe there's oklenty omn the road.
So much water in the gutter of the ROAD for so much RAIN last NIGHT.😮
What Winch is it and why a Runva?!?!?!
It's a Runva 13 Pro - and they're an excellent winch, best value for money for the durability and strength. Desigtned by people who actually know about winching too!!! I used plenty of winches - these are the best without getting stupid on price and features you don't need.
👍👍👍👍👍
How do you find that stubby antenna, John ?
I reckon it's almost as good as the big one in open country - more testing required tho, like going bush again!!!
@@JOHNROOTHROOTHY thanks for getting back to me
Good to hear you like it
HEY ROOTHY ! When they BAN internal combustion engines & allow only ELECTRIC CARS are you going to get a PUSH BIKE or a bunch of CAMELS ? I'd go the camels. No flat tyres.
What’s your preference, egg n bacon or bacon n eggs. ?
bacon bacon bacon - and egg!
If it ain't raining we ain't camping enjoying the good life I see
looks like the Mahindra is doing fine - maybe a little cheaper than Defender and Troophy
Yep, even built up like this it's still cheaper than either of those by heaps - more momney for fuel and beer is good with us!
hey mate, make sure u get the import coronas, some of them coronas are made in china now!!!
titles a bit misleading, i came to see an offroad trial of the calcutta cruiser, and ended up watching a cooking show? should of saved that roast 15 minutes earlier- practically cremated it, brekkie looked good though
what colour is it
Landrover green - early model.
Aus bush man 4wd or car sales MAN what asking 🤔
Those creases on your ear lobes are a decent indicator of lurking heart disease. Cut down on that bacon bro.
It's a rare treat now Tom - camping days only. Thanks for caring mate -
Your guiness to water ratio is all wrong Roothy, bit of a design fault you’ll have to fix.
mahindra? you not serious are you?
Pretty serious mate. You should drive one!
Who gives a fuck what people drive. If it gets you outside livin' then do it. Too much emphasis on gear rather than places and experiences nowadays anyway.
@@outdoors5352 yeah ok. LOL
@@outdoors5352 well said, doesn't matter what you drive, its the experience and the memeries that matter !

Your gunna wish you kept the 40 series when that thing lets you down 👎🏻
We're pretty happy so far although you never know - less maintenance, more trips, half the price to travel and then there's the comfort ....
