My older brother playing trombone fascinated me with music. I started playing trumpet at 9-10 years old and after only playing for about a month was called on by the director at a parent concert to play “We Three Kings” a cappella. I had played it once before and he had me play it by memory. I nailed it and was hooked and have been playing for 54 years now. Love all of your posts!
