Amazing as Always 🎉 I would like to ask you about what are the steps that should be taken when it comes to playing songs by ear on the piano. Because I do also play by ear the thing is that I would try to figure out the key of the song and then the chords. Can you please tell me how do you figure out the chords of a song ? That would be amazing! Thank you for your time and help ❤
Thank you! I’m happy to hear you are also playing by ear. For chords it may help to play right hand only while listening to the track in headphones in one ear. Focus on adding in the bass note, one note at a time: perhaps: one note per measure, or one note per chord, to start. Just never too much where you can’t manage. If the bass is complicated, leave some notes out, grasp that, then add more in gradually. If you can hear other notes you can’t get just yet, good practicing will 100% guaranteed get you there. Alot of stress on good practicing and breaking it down. It takes less time in the long run to master something if you practice slow. A notepad next to the piano comes in super handy and always write your chords down! ❤️
