This is an excellent demonstration of how similar their music was to The Beatles. I know somebody who despises The Beatles, but loves Nirvana, and I cannot comprehend it other than assuming it's a surface-level gripe with the "soundscape" and not about the actual musical content. Kurt was an incredibly melodic writer and does not get the credit he truly deserves. Anyway, Great interpretation of this song! I really enjoyed listening to it!
Or you know. The Beatles and nirvana are two very different bands. And you can like one and hate the other. Sure they have tons in common but sonically it's completely reasonable to hate the Beatles and like nirvana
@@DrollMagnum6720 Except that A) His contention is specifically about how bad he thinks their songwriting is, and B) He's a fan of many other bands that have the same sonical characteristics as The Beatles (like Oasis). So that completely rules out your theory. There's a reason I said what I said.
Idk, I really hate alot of the Microphones but I love Mount Eerie. And they are the SAME PERSON. Sonically very similar, lyrically similar. Just don't like one and the other. We scrutinize and pick apart people's simple music taste too much. Valid as hell to think the Beatles suck and nirvana rocks. Super valid to say nirvana sucks and the Beatles rock. Doesn't matter. You are far more interesting if you hold opinions on artists instead of folding and saying a act is objectively great (which I'm guilty of doing) because everyone else seems to think so.
ONE BABY TO ANOTHER SAYS IN LUCKY TO HAVE MET YOU😫😫😫
