I just got a ps5 in june for ff16 and wasnt disappointed, i havent been in the ps ecosystem since the ps2 so I was happy to get a big backlog of games ive missed out on, ive been playing more games now than ever

I stopped at 1:43 to comment this. I am not sure how old you were at the time but back in 06/07 the Wii and PS3 drought was way more aggregous than the ps5 shortage. Hell even the 360 was still being the prize for scalpers at the time. So the shortage we are seeing is not unheard of, its just something we haven't seen in a hot minute.
And i have a general idea where the video is going and if my predictions are true, i just have to say the ps3 came out in 06 and it wasn't the groundbreaking juggernaut we would come to see it as until around 2010, so just give these machines another year out on the market, especially so close after a world wide pandemic that likely brought the industry to a crawl.

Well, you could of bought Returnal😂 You chose to get cross gen games and complain about gen 9🤷 I don’t have many ps5 games but I have at least one game that is not on last gen consoles, Returnal. That game makes good use of the dual sense controller and the game world changes every time you play it, giving it a next gen experience if coming from gen 8.
