I bought one for $2000 with 141k on the clock. Its a great performance bargain considering 1990s single cam Civics go for the same price as i paid for mine. I drove the Spec V and an 8th Gen Civic Si back to back, and while the Si is a better car in almost every way, it was also 3 times as much and was in far worse condition. Spec Vs are good cars for the price.

I think u described part of my dislike for bing dwen dwen pretty well. A panda encased in magical ice just feels weird and specific. As well as its eyes just looking cold and dead to me? Idk. I just don’t like em, he looks upsetting in general to me. The Paralympic mascot shuey rhon rhon is fantastic tho, love him 10/10

Interesting facts about Someity: It remains extremely popular to this day (yes even 3 whole years after the games). This has gone to the point where the JPC (Japanese Paralympic Committee) and TMG (Tokyo Metropolian Government) have turned Someity into an officially permenant character who still appears in events today. Since Someity was the mascot for a now over event, it has now been repurposed to carry on the legacy of the Paralympics and promote sports in Japan. Someity currently has 4 upcoming appearences that are a TOKYO FORWARD talk show on October 26th 2024 (in a few days), two Olympic Day Run events (one on November 2nd 2024 and another on the 9th of that same November), and the BEYOND STADIUM 2024 event on November 17th 2024. However, what can currently be done with Someity is extremely limited since the JPC do not own the rights to the character. The only public thing it can do is appear at events and that's it. But, I can see them buying the rights in the future due to the immense passion of the fanbase and the fact that the JPC seems to want to do a lot more with Someity since it cares about the fans. I think they are not doing it because they do not have enough money to buy the rights off yet. I mean, the JPC was involved in organising Tokyo 2020 (a fairly recent event) so they had to spend a lot of money on it (especially when you know about the problems COVID-19 caused to the event).

It's funny how you can kinda notice the point where they actually started to try to make the paralympic mascots, not just slap an animal or two with a disability and call it a day, and by that i mean "just throw something in idk"

Hello, I'm in the Raleigh area too! It's very weird seeing some of the shops I frequent on UA-cam. I've really come to like PayMore, they have a shelf that they price at 6 games for $20 and there's usually some good deals on there, I grabbed Gears of War 1-3 last week for $10 total.

Nice video. I’m in the same area as you. The Raleigh Market vendors tend to be on the higher side for video games. The booth you showed used to have better pricing but has gone up like everything else. Quick tip on Guardian Angel - the FV location has a store next door that sells all their electronics. Thanks for the Cheshire Cat suggestion. Haven’t been there yet. I’ll have to check it out.

Saw the title and had to watch. Finding video games at non video game stores is what I love to do. I got Saints Row 3rd Great Hits last week at a dollar general for $10. I used to have luck at 5 below a few years ago. Great vid.

This is so interesting because for the past few years my GameStop locations kept all the PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, and Xbox 360 stock. All you had to do was ask them to print out a sheet and they’d show you the list of what they had on hand and then they’d open a drawer and pull it out for you to purchase. It didn’t go further back than that though, only recently have I seen older games being put out.

Gamestop is a joke.....and always been...buy a brand new game for 60 and gamestop will give ya 20 dollars for it only five days later them resell for 54.99..

It is surprising it took them this long to figure out that people still want to buy retro games. I actually haven't stepped foot in GameStop for over a decade and probably still won't, but it is interesting that they decided to finally tap into the retro game market (even though it seems pretty lackluster from what you've mentioned). I'd rather show my support for a local mom and pop retro game store. Well, at least one that isn't actively trying to price gouge you for its games.

Vinicius is an S no diff, best mascot ever. I literally have no complaints about him, and with Tom I only have nitpicks (he can summon tools from his head so he can do the same things Vinicius does, and some other stuff, making him perfect for a paralympics mascot BUT they gave him two legs instead of a single trunk, which fits his plant theme and makes him disabled. It's such a simple change that would make them both the best mascots of everything of all time)

They dont have much retro titles and never will because they dont know a thing about retro gaming except that its huge right now. They dont actually want to put any effort into selling it or doing research on there worth, except what the titles go by on eBay. Which is not what they're worth to begin with. Dude you gotta look upmom and pop video game stores. They know everything about retro gaming, what the games are worth. And there passionate about all the retro titles and consoles. There's a game retro store I went to a couple of years ago. And found the very gamecube RE4 you purchased. I got mine for $10. No offense but that GameStop saw you coming. Ha. But anyway bottom line, its not gonna last with GameStop doing this. They already failed one at trying to sell them online. And they will fail again with these locations carrying some of them. Because again, they dont know what they're doing. They have no knowledge about this games, except that its popular and they go by eBay prices and make the prices higher. A mom and pop video game store doesnt do that.

All the Retro Gamestop locations look about to have always the same games; those already ported to modern systems or those available on platform subscription services. And it is sad!

GameStop didn't even know what they were doing before this. And still don't.

But they have been doing for a long time all you had to do was ask they kept all older games in the drawters
