I think this one is the best warping tutorial, I saw tons of warping tutorials, and all those so-called pro DJs and musicians take the acapella with already fixed BPM, very easy to align with the tempo, which makes it easy to warp and develop the whole set, whereas I'm struggling with acapella taken from a slow romantic song, where there is only a voice and a piano, no drums to stick to tempo, nothing else, which makes it extremely difficult to warp and get the proper bpm. Thanks a lot, you showed it exactly for those who are struggling with the most inconsistent acapella in terms of bpm and rhythm. Keep it up! Subbed.
Best starting point is to unwarp the vocal and put the project bpm to the vocals original bpm and then warp it and put it back to ur bpm and fix small timing issues from there
A class video would be, how you work with vocalists and writers. It’s a new thing for me and honestly I’m good on my own but with others I feel out of my depth
It’s a constant battle tbf. I’ve just started playing it in simpler! Once it’s roughly warped just play the wee bits. Honestly some work perfectly without this but the disco ones and the bits from breakdowns need this stuff

That studio is lush!! 😍
Thanks again Josh you legend
I’m so lazy that it took him saying “there’s really no easy way to do it” to realize the video I was looking for didn’t exist
where do you normally get your vocals from?
hey thanks for the video, how did you unwarp all the warp markers like that?
Agreed no vocal = seminal track
Cool
when i drag in audio, the markers dont appear automatically, only once at the beginning of the vocal sample. any idea how to fix?
If you double click the audio clip then look at the bottom it will say warp. U gotta click that n they appear mate
check if Auto-Warp Long Samples is set to off in the settings
all this gear and you cant put a noise gate on your mic to stifle even a little bit of the mouth breathing.
