I live on the Tn side of the Dragon and am looking at getting back into bikes and getting the RS660, so that's how I ended up here. I rode the Dragon in the 90s and have been across is a few times in a vehicle since. A lot of it is familiar but it was cool to hear the names and even some history of the area as you rode. The bike looks fun and the riding you did in the video is pretty much the type I expect to do. So, although this wasn't some extreme Dragon speed run it was one of the best Dragon videos I've seen.
Totally agree with your comment regarding the overlook. I hate it when people go ripping through there. Very cool how you included the photos. Your crew takes such nice shots!
17:08, not only that, but the pavement is badly broken towards the braking zone, making it even more challenging to tip in properly. I enjoy riding that bottom section, and like you mention for the most part is empty. Missing the area a lot, hoping to be back soon.
They are Vance Leather denim and leather retro gloves I found on Amazon. I really got them for riding the Scrambler. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09VHZHL89/
I'm trying to figure out what could possibly dump fluid for that long without blowing up or at least overheating. Side note: I heard the tail is being repaved in 2024, and that it would be shut down?? Is that true or will it just be sections?
This is shot in 4k/24fps, but the real trick that gives it the motion blur is shooting with a filter (ND or in this case, polarizing) popped on the lens to knock down the light, and also limiting Max ISO to just 200. This forces the camera to shoot a longer shutter speed, keeping the sensor "turned on" longer for each 1/24th of a second increment, and giving it that blur. FPS is good to play with and understand, but shutter speed lives within each frame of the FPS and that is very important also. You can't directly control shutter speed with GoPros, but you can influence it with filters and limits on the Max ISO. Hope that helps!
60/40/60% rain Fri/Sat/Sun, and high around 80, so not great, but it's still a ways off and the forecasting around here is always pessimistic. It'll probably be better than it looks right now.

Thanks for the names of the turns/area...Always see them on the Dragon maps but never heard and seen them on a video!
Thank You for this. I hope to meet you when Buddy Guy is in town! I don't bet I've missed a photo or video!
This video sold me on the RS 660, so I pulled the trigger on one today!
Sweet! Congrats, hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
Have fun waiting six months for parts to come in when you need to repair things.

What fps are you shooting in? Excellent video. Actually looks like you’re moving. Every time I record, it looks like I’m crawling

Not sure if I want to buy an aprilia with how the speedometer is inaccurate :D
I had nothing but bad experiences with my Aprilia, do not buy one.
