Bangladesh took part in parade to celebrate their 50 years of independence as Indian army played a major role in Bangladesh independence war of 1971.

From Ancient times people understood that we should cover our head. All the communities did cover their head. Now days youngsters don't understand it's need, significance. The one PM Modi was wearing is Gujarati style pagdi which Gujjars wear because he is gujarati. Their all dozens of different styles for covering head from different communities.

There’s various different turbans in India, you are mostly familiar with the ones sikhs wear, but each region has different head wear, Rajasthanis have a different head wear, Gujaratis have a different one, Marathis have a different one, karnataka has a different one, you don’t see them much because they have become ceremonial now. Bangladesh desk marched this year because it’s the golden jubilee of the indo pak war of 1971 in which Bangladesh gained independence. He’s not the military leader, he’s the president of India the commander in chief of the armed forces, queen Elizabeth 2 is the commander in chief of Canada as you are a part of the Commonwealth realm and that role in India is fulfilled by our president. They are soldiers of indo Tibetan border police deployed along the border with China.

You guys should have seen beating retreat. It's awesome. The Attari-Wagah Border beating retreat happens every evening.
Wagah is in Pakistan and Attari is in Punjab India. At Attari - Wagah border both countries have made an small stadium kind of thing for people to come and see. Due to Corona it was closed for people and reopened on 26 January. WHENEVER YOU COME TO INDIA DO GO TO ATTARI-WAGAH BORDER AND HAVE A SEAT BEFORE THE ceremony starts.
There are separate kind of head coverings in india. Some wear it religiously and for others it's the culture and choice. For example Sikhs wear a different kind of turban which covers their hair and it is very religious. What modi is wearing is a different kind of turban worn in india. People klin kashmir wear a different head coverings. Etc etc. ❤️
Yeah We have our own Vaccine, we have the biggest vaccine production facility too so we have also given the vaccine to other countries too

Btw, if you do visit India, be sure to make a comprehensive plan, since India is like a continent which has almost innumerable regional languages, ethnicities, religions, etc. The geography of India is really diverse too, from the Himalaya mountains in the North to the Thar desert in the West and jungles and beaches down South, there's a lot to see. Not to mention the diverse wildlife, from the Asiatic lion to the Indian elephant and the one-horned rhinoceros. And finally, there are many monuments, from the Golden temple in Punjab to the Taj Mahal in Uttar Pradesh to monasteries in Arunachal Pradesh and the Sun temple in Odisha, there's a lot to see (and eat, don't forget Indian food!).

This low key reminds me of the North Korea parade.., also I find it really funny the prime minister of UK sending positive messages for the indian republic day which really was as a result of independence from system the the UK had for india.
Nope! We celebrate our Independence day on 15th August and the year of getting independence was 1947 but republic day marks the implementation of our Constitution on 26th January 1950. So inviting British prime minister on that day isn't a big deal, there is no harsh feelings with the UK it's just the british colonial empire. Infact the bangladeshi military contingent was present at that parade.
