@@brickfilmer5893 So, this is the official statement from the wiki, which is written by Fez: The developers made an extensive effort to convince the playerbase that this map was Moscow. A number of fake sneak-peeks showing Orthodox Crosses were shown off, along with the infrastructure bearing similarities to Moscow's clock tower. This was due to the playerbase's widespread support and obsession with the "Final Stand at Burning Moscow" suggestion posted by Deimach in the Guts & Blackpowder Discord server. The Burning of Moscow takes place prior to the events of the game in-lore. They even teamed everyone Russian during the first playtest, instead of Danish.
For those who thinks this is Copenhagen and not Moscow, I can confirm that. When we saw the first part, it's like Moscow. But the last is likely the bombardment. But, according to some rumors, the apocalypse took place at Napoleon's invasion of Russia, which the year is from 1812. But the Second Battle of Copenhagen... It occurs from 1807...
