Growing up there was an older man a few houses away and he had lost his wife. He was probably in his 80s. My sister and I would go weed his garden with him. In the summer we cut his grass and shoveled his driveway in the winter. He was from Italy and he loved telling us stories of his family. It wasn’t something our parents made us do we really enjoyed helping him out and hearing his stories as well . We were heartbroken when he passed away. I feel blessed to have known him ❤
Ronnie Dunn was attending seminary in Tulsa Ok, started singing in honkytonks around the Tulsa area, got paired with Kix Brooks and the rest is gold and platinum history
Brooks & Dunn were Country Music's Duo of the Year, 10 years running. I got to see them in 1997. Fantastic show! Great voices and talent! Next he should hear Neon Moon.
Love this. It’s been years since I have heard this beautiful ballad. I am losing my bestie to cancer, I balled all the way through, yet raised my hand and bowed my head because I believe ❤️💕🙏🏽
I saw that this caught Homeboy off guard and had him tear up a little. 🤫😉👏🙏✝️ He was swallowing that water hard to fight them back. It's cool though, this had me crying too.
When I was 6 and 7 years old, I used to walk to a grocery store every week to buy groceries for an elderly couple who were both blind. One night at dinner my mom mentioned the husband had died. I asked her how she found out. She told me she read his obituary in the newspaper. So after dinner I snuck down to her house. When she answered the door and asked me in I blurted out I was sorry her husband had died and knew she was not able to read it in the paper but I thought she should know. She handled it and me very sweetly. We sat and talked for quite a while.
"The words written in red." The words that Jesus spoke are written in red in the Bible. I like the insights that your friend made about the lighting and some of the intricacies of what goes into music video making. I learned something today. I am enjoying how your channel is morphing into an awareness of music styles that you were not exposed to when you were young. I can see the growing appreciation in your demeanor now.
Just curious what Bible has Jesus's words written in red I've read a Bible twice or the Bible twice and I've never seen that so I'd like to pick up a version of that please and thank you
I’ll never forget this as long as I live. A few months ago when you did the initial reaction to this song I was watching it in the parking lot before my daughter soccer game in the truck. I was in the middle of watching your reaction. There was another family in the parking lot doing the kids car seat rotation in the back seat of their car and all that and the dad put a book on top of the car and got their child settled in the back seat. He was about to get back in the car and forgot about it and he saw me sitting in my truck and I started to get out and pointed to the top of his car and I got out so he could understand me. It was a Bible. He said thank you very much man before they left. I couldn’t make it up I tried. I’m just glad he didn’t drive off with it on the top of his car.
Ronnie Dunn has one of the finest voices in any genre and his storytelling skills are amazing. He can break your heart or get you moving with "Boot scootin boogie!". Saw them in concert years ago and they delivered the best show! More please!
I'm old enough to remember when sending your kids over to help a neighbor was a common thing. I knew everyone on the street where I grew up and was welcome in every house. It was such a safe environment to raise kids in simply because everyone knew & looked out for everyone else. IDK how we lost that but IMO it's one of the things we should be working to bring back.
Wow. This the first time I've seen this video. I've never cried to a Brooks and Dunn song but this had me crying like a baby. Beautiful song. I definitely Believe
I have heard this song hundreds of times. I even saw your first reaction to it. For some reason today it brought tears to my eyes. Maybe it was watching Joe and you both so into it and he was a little misty too if I am not mistaking. Great job both of you.
The main singer Ronnie Dunn said it’s hard for him to sing this song live because he can’t do it without crying Not to mention these incredible vocals I don’t believe in any kind of religion that until you’ve walked a mile in the shoes of someone who’s lost everything you shouldn’t judge them Maybe that belief is the only thing that gets them out of bed in the morning 🙏 Great reaction as usual
Brooks & Dunn was one of the best concerts I ever been to. They dont have a bad song and sound better in person! And this was just a year or two ago, so still out there putting on good shows!
It's Ronnie Dunn, and Kix Brooks, man you really need to listen to the song called "I'LL NEVER FORGIVE MY HEART" by theses guy's Ronnie, has a great voice. Thanks
Great stuff from the two of you. One thing that I never understood about this AMAZING song is why Ronnie Dunn used the phrase, "OH, BY THE WAY SON, Old Man Wrigley has died." The only thing that I can think is that his mother didn't grasp the imense depth of the relationship that he had with the old man. And Joe E. you got it right with those pearly whites!
So far BP i haven't seen another song thus far that seems to have touched you more. I sense this one hits the heart tho I could be wrong but your expression both times I've watched you react to this one says alot. This is one of those that hits deep for many im sure. It is a touching story and sang so well the way only they could do their way. Thanks for sharing this one again
This is the story of/about most of us, DON'T listen to the media about how divided we are. If you want the time of your life, go spend a morning/afternoon at a senior center - BEST STORIES EVER! You will make a friend.
I’m crying HUGE TEARS here! I’m a HUGE BELIEVER! Finding out that it was a real true story makes me cry even more. I’m always telling God that I want off of this rock. I have more loved ones over there than here. I’m paralyzed and in pain all the time. But, you and a few others on UA-cam make me smile and I want to thank you for that. I have a great family that loves me and takes good care of me so I am just feeling sorry for myself and I apologize for that. Peace to you all.
Sheww, I tear up every time I hear this song. Lost my brother, then my mom. I believe. I've only had the chance to meet Kix Brooks. He was at a small Christmas party I was at, he brought out his guitar, plus a few others brought out theirs. Great guy. Great reaction ❤
Ronnie Dunn isn't just a product of a great studio. I've seen them live and I've seen many...many...of the greats live. And I can say that he sounds phenomenal live. He really is one the best country singers to ever do it.
I wish you have seen their CMA performance They had a choir in the background and nothing but candles lit around them They took it to church that night
Hi from South Africa. Love your reactions. Seeing your growth in different music genres is great to watch. Have you done reations to Travelling Willburys?

So kind of you guys.
Yes, Ronnie wrote this about his neighbor, true story.
He co wrote it and it wasn’t part of his life. True story..
@@1BobsYourUncle She's right! Google it. Ronnie Dunn said it's about a relationship he had growing up. The song is based on a true story.
How lucky are we that Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks came together ? Instant magic !!!
Ronnie Dunn was attending seminary in Tulsa Ok, started singing in honkytonks around the Tulsa area, got paired with Kix Brooks and the rest is gold and platinum history
Thanks, that makes them even more lovable.
Ronnie Dunn has one of the the best voices ever in country music.

Cry Every. Single. Time
I cry every time....if you don't cry there is something wrong with you
This is EXACTLY how I grew up. Still same neighbor 47 years later. Love you Mr. Tobe.
I love the fact that you were touched by this song & video, enough to share it with your comrades.
I feel ya, Bro! 🙏✌️
I love the song and love it when you have him
Over for shared viewing too thank you
Wow. This the first time I've seen this video. I've never cried to a Brooks and Dunn song but this had me crying like a baby. Beautiful song. I definitely Believe
There's a live version recorded during the CMA awards that's outstanding!
I think that’s the only live performance Brooks and Dunn did of this song.
I have heard this song hundreds of times. I even saw your first reaction to it. For some reason today it brought tears to my eyes. Maybe it was watching Joe and you both so into it and he was a little misty too if I am not mistaking. Great job both of you.
Powerful song. One of Country Music's roots is gospel. Many of the old time Country artists would add a gospel song to their albums and live shows.
I am a nurse. This song played again and again while my hospice patient slowly died. I will never forget her.

This song never gets old
Ronnie Dunn the greatest tenor singer in country music.....
Tied with Vince Gill…
Also loved how in his memories, they washed out the color similar to how it seems when you're remembering. It's a great effect.
This one always gets me 😢❤❤❤❤❤
My favorite song from them, a beautiful song of best friends ❤️
Beautiful song and video. I had heard it on the radio before but haven’t ever seen the video. It gave me goosebumps and made my eyes tear up.

What a set of pipes on Ronnie.............................
Great reaction. I Believe is definitely a gospel.
Now that we've analyzed the lighting, what about the song ? It's like watching a magician and having someone tell you how they did their tricks.
Love ❤️ this it made me cry l love your channel BP 👍

This is a true story from Ronnie Dunn’s childhood
Ronnie Dunn, is a great singer! There are many good ones, few great ones. It’s Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn.
Ronnie dunn is his first name.. he played the music at my sisters wedding... In 1990...
Love the collabs with Joe E!
Mr. Wrigley and his pearly whites also makes a brief appearance in the video for "Whiskey Lullaby". That one is well worth your attention.
Would love to see your friend react with you to ‘Wait in the Truck’ by Hardy
I like these co hosted reactions on your channel, pretty cool.
I loved you two together. You should do more reacts, together.
The only song I can think of off the top of my head where Brooks is the lead singer is, You Better Kiss Me (cause you’re gonna miss me when I’m gone)
Another song that gets into the grit of childhood is "The House That Built Me" by Miranda Lambert. Beautiful song.
I wish you have seen their CMA performance They had a choir in the background and nothing but candles lit around them They took it to church that night
