Good scope
This is the bestvideo ever
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use this scope with an Olympus OM-D E-M10ii dslr please? I'm still learning, but if I have it correct, you would need to buy another, separate Olympus piece to adapt to the T-Ring. Is that right? thanks in advance for any help!
Hello. If you may take your time to try answer a few questions: Are T and T2 rings the same? Also how can I attach the DSLR directly to the scope without zoom piece? Thanks!
great vid. easy understand to use ting adaptor.
Thank you so much for your appreciation. It means a lot
God bless 🙏

@@science_sir 😊
So the dial on the top of canon needs to be on M manual? I couldn’t tell when you were twisting it around. I want to photograph Saturn did you use a special type of filter or only for the sun? Thank you for this awesome video.
You're absolutely right, try to use manual mode in the camera for best results.
We don't need any special filters to photograph Saturn.
Nice video 👍
Thank you so much Mr. Hasan for showing your interest and for all your kind words of appreciation. It really means a lot to me. God bless you and your family 🙏
Hii sir.....Very nice video amazing...🙂🙂
Thank you so much Chrysel for all your kind words of appreciation and for showing your interest. Like always it really means a lot to me. God bless you and your family 🙏
would you recommend this spotting scope for shooting at the range at 700 yards ?
Mr. Marquez, please forgive me as I have never used this scope for shooting purpose, so really have no practical Idea about it. But this scope are capable to show distant objects like 4 moons of Jupiter and the ring of Saturn. God bless 🙏
Thank you. I couldn't figure out how to attach the T ring to the scope. I didn't know the treads were hidden under the rubber eye ring.
🙏
Hi Science Sir,
Do you recall if you got the T Adapter with the spotting scope or with the T-Ring puschase?
Hope I can get my hands on one soon.
Best regards,
Haddock
Mr. Haddock, we need to buy it separately.
Could i possibly speak with you.. i have some questions about my vortex scope and canon camera
Thanks for the demonstration. Can you clarify something for me please. I've been told for my Nikon DSLR to work with a Celestron Regal M2 100mm scope, I need to buy the T Ring for Nikon (sure I understand this) and the Celestron 1.25" universal barlow & t-adapter. What is this attachment and what does it do and do I really need it?
If possible please share few snaps of the eyepiece of your scope to my fb or Instagram page so that I can take a look and suggest you accordingly. Still I think u don't need Barlow as it's for the telescope.
@@science_sir Just sent you a facebook msg
Dear Sir, which scope is optically better. Celestro ultima or gosky? Unfortunately I could not find other brands in Indian market.
You're absolutely right, in India, u can get either celestron or gosky. The quality of both are almost same with 80mm lens. But celestron comes with 100mm variant, which is definitely better than 80mm.
Hi.. Can you try spotting comet neowise and capture it? 😬
Mr. Viswanath thank you so much for your request, im trying almost every day with the hope to get a glimpse of Neowise, but maybe I'm not lucky enough to capture it due to the cloudy sky. Still trying. Let's hope for the best. God bless you and your family 🙏
I have the celestron regal m2 80ed I cannot get the eyecup off to apply the ring I read the manual put eyecup down then twist left it doesn’t budge I’ve tried on and off the tripod and removing the zoom eyepiece. Why won’t it twist off.
Ann, if possible please share few snaps of the eyepiece to my fb or Instagram page so that I can take a look and suggest you accordingly .
Good video. It's a VSAT antenna.
Thank you so much Mr. Reddy for all your kind words of appreciation. It really means a lot to me. God bless you and your family 🙏
I'm confused. This video clearly shows you need to buy something called a T-Ring designed for the intended camera, but then all of a sudden there's some other piece in the mix branded Celestron. What is this Celestron piece? (My scope is also Celestron, so I'm guessing I need it.) Is it required in all cases, or only if you're adding a zoom lens between camera and scope?
That’s the eye piece from the scope (labeled EP in the captions). Pull the rubber off the eye piece and you find the treads the T-ring threads on to
Why don't you thread the T Ring Canon adapter on to the eyepiece with it attached on the scope then attach camera body by rotating it onto the adapter?
Mr. Karl there's no specific reason for that, did it just what I thought comfortable with. Please feel free if you have any other queries. God bless 🙏
I have a Celestron Regal M2 100ED Angled spotting scope. I purchased the Celestron T Ring adaptor and assumed when I connected this to the camera body of my Nikon D3100 camera, I could then take photos through the spotting scope. However my camera keeps saying, no lens attached and it won't take any pictures. How can I get my camera to work on the spotting scope? Does it need something else attached? Please email reply
It's very normal. Try "live view" mode. It will solve the issue
@@science_sir Thank you, I'm now getting a picture. Can you also tell me, so it will only work in Manual right? When I try auto, aperture priority etc it says again, "no lens attached". In manual setting, has the option of F stop now gone? Without any lens attached, what F stop will the photos be? When I choose manual I just have the option of shutter speed. Are there any lenses I can attach to my camera and then to the spotting scope so I can select which aperture i'd like to use?
Whats your tripod head model? I need one sturdy enough to hold the weight of the camera on my eyepiece...
I have used manfrotto gear head 🙏
Where did you find the T Adapter to attach the T-ring to the eyepiece? I just received the T-Ring but cannot find the adapter. The T-ring in your link does not come with the adapter.
Nevermind, it actually came with the telescope and was in the box!
@@NorminkoDH Hi Vincent,
I have the same struggle. Did you get the t adapter with the spotting scope?
@@haddock7220 I did, yes. I found it between the foam blocks in the box!
Hi, great video, can you answer technical questions ?
I will try Mr. Steve. Please let me know your queries.
@@science_sir I’m connecting a Nikon camera to a spotting scope and photos are just coming out with a white screen, video mode works ok, I’m a complete beginner with the manual mode and no idea what I’m really doing.. someone suggested my exposure or iso settings are wrong
If possible please share few snaps of the control buttons of your camera to my fb or Instagram page so that I can take a look and suggest you accordingly. God bless 🙏
I have same scope, can you please tell me what you attached the t ring to? it looks like there is an additional piece? if so, can you please let me know what it is and where I can get it?
The eyepiece is attached to the t ring and finally the t ring goes to the camera.
@@science_sir Thank you, I was wondering the same thing. Thank you for responding.
It looks like the T-ring has another piece attached to it that says celestron on it. Either that or it's not the same t-ring for the canon or nikon cause they don't have that section on them.
Do you know what it is? Trying to this exact setup and any help would be aprreciated. Thanks! And great video.
Nevermind, it looks like you just took the top of the eyepiece off and connected it to the t-ring. Then reconnected the top of the eyepiece. Little confusing, but think I got it now.
Please forgive me for replying late. You're absolutely right in aspects, it's a t-ring attached to the eyepiece. Please feel free if you have any other queries. God bless you and your family 🙏
Can be usted any T Ring or must be Celestron brand ?
Definitely 🙏
One query....
Even after using a tripod... I can see lot of vibration & shake..
It will badly affect image quality..
How to compensate for that..?
Try to use a heavy duty video tripod instead of using regular camera tripod. This will definitely solve the issue. God bless 🙏
@@science_sir thanks mate 😊
You're welcome 🙏
is there any visible chromatic aberration during the photos?
This is definitely not made with high quality lenses, there's a slight chromatic aberration close to the perimeter of the lens.
@@science_sir Which is better: C90 mak, ultima80, delta Optical 65ED? Which lens better quality view and photo digiscoping?
What tripod is that please?
Ethan, it's a heavy duty video tripod. If possible let me know your country so that I can send you a suitable link for this. Please feel free if you have any other queries. God bless you and your family 🙏
@@science_sir in england, thanks again
@@science_sir Can you send me a link for the Tripod? - I am from the UK. Also I have a Nikon D3000 which I have tried contacting the same (with my Celestron Ultima 100), but the camera states No Lense attached... I any idea why this is happening? Many thanks
Mr. John, it's perfectly normal to show "no lens attached", just press the "live view" button on your DSLR, u will get the visual. Please feel free if you have any other queries.
I will soon share the link with you. God bless 🙏
