Correction: when talking about the 90th anniversary celebrations I muddled up which ship was in which port. Encounter was in Brisbane and Adventure was in Sydney.
The Pacific Adventure is such a lovely cruise ship. Feels very cosy for what is a large ship.
Really interesting video Chris ❤❤ were cruising on pacific adventure Friday of next wk on a 90s cruise, really looking forward to it ❤❤
Have a wonderful time!
@@ChrisFrameOfficial thank you
Sailed on the Pacific Adventure many times, she’s a lovely ship with plenty of cosy spots, lovely beds. Have several cruises booked on Encounter for this year and next, with one out of Singapore Mar 2027 on Adventure. TBH I hope Carnival doesn’t do too much to them, thank you for your video.
Travelled on the Encounter and a very nice open, easy to get around ship.
You are correct Chris, the Dragon Lady is excellent.
We are travelling again in July so shall see if the style stays the same.
Will be on the Splendor soon so will check it out.
Going by the internal videos, they appear to present better then Azura and Ventura as well. Plus the cabins appear to have had a bit of a modernisation and even a new more modern tv too.
Cheers Mate
Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
Will you cruise on Carnival Adventure or Encounter?
Common for ships to be sold to different companies
We cruise on the Adventure in July
Thank you for the video!
Always interesting with lots of info. Don't understand why they would no longer use such a strong brand
Sailing on Adventure in June - looking forward to it. I tried to get on the last sailing as P&O but was too late. Hopefully the transition to Carnival brand is by name only and the feel is still P&O
I’ve never sailed P&O Australia, so correct me if I’m mistaken, but it would seem like it would’ve been more logical to transfer the ships back to the Princess brand than Carnival (given the food, market focus and decor show).
Sailed the Pacific Adventure November 2024. Cost cutting in food was evident. Pantry Buffet = Less choice at the salad bar and the driest bread rolls on the 7 seas. Unfortunately Dragon Lady was reheating their afternoon tea you cha which made the dim sums DRY and chewy. Royal Caribbean has better food and charcuterie choices. The only good thing I can say is that the BAR service is quicker and faster on P&O compared to Royal Caribbean..... So if you are on a liquid diet Pacific Adventure is for you ! 🍹🍸🍾🥂
They should have been returned to Princess!
Classic carnival. Slap a cheap coat of paint on an old ship and label it as a “brand new ship”
They are repainted Princess ships 🚢
Carnival is a terrible company avoid at all costs. Cheap and nasty and literally everyone on my cruise got Covid, the employees had zero care about the health of guests.
