I still can’t get over how impressive this program makes 3D models look. They actually look like illustrations. Now the next important part is adding characters to the scene. How do you draw your character on the scene, and match their colors & lighting to those of the background? Is there a way to import rigged 3D character models into Snaptoon, which we can pose within the program? If we can import 3D characters into the program, then this would make it a lot easier to apply the background colors & lighting to our characters. After that, we can just draw over the 3D characters with the awareness of what the colors & lighting should look like on them. This would be very cool, although I’m not sure if Snaptoon has this type of feature, since I haven’t seen it anywhere. 😊 Whatever the case, I’d like to know what’s the best way to add characters to the scene. Thank you for these videos. They’re interesting 👍💕
As I said in the video I will make a part two on how to put characters in it! It will be out in two weeks, always on sunday 🥰 For the characters in Snaptoon I think if you have a 3d .skp file it can totally work 👀 Thanks for the comment!
@@Psariz Sounds good. I will definitely check out that video when it comes out. 🥰 I didn’t know that 3D characters can also come in SKP format though. Usually, I’ve seen posable 3D characters in FBX format or VRM. Whatever the case, I’d want to use a 3D character that I design myself, maybe by using a character generator. Thank you 🙏🏻💖
@@Psariz Although now that I think about it, I’m not sure if there’s an ideal way to add a 3D character to a Snaptoon scene. The reason is that it’s not possible to save the background & character on different layers. I would use the background image as is without drawing over it, but I would need to draw over the 3D character since 3D characters tend to look too stiff and won’t look good in a comic unless I draw over them. 3D characters would help me to pose my characters in the scene and accurately portray them in different camera angles, but it wouldn’t work well unless they are saved on a different layer than the background. Still, even though this isn’t possible on Snaptoon right now, I would love to see your process on how you add the characters in and ensure that their colors & lighting match the background. I really love your art style. 💖
this was so easy to understand!!! i tried following other tutorials but i could not follow what any of them were saying 😦. the way you explained everything was so simple for my small brain. thank you for uploading this!!!!! ❤😺
thank you so much for this video !!! T_T i've just began to use snaptoon for my own webcomic after using sketchup for a while, but it was a bit confusing to navigate ... your video made it sooooo much easier to use now that i know how to use everything !!! you really saved my life frl !!! ❤😭😭
Thank you so much for the explanations! I learned about snaptoon thanks to you and fell in love with this program✨️ You're doing a great job! And how beautiful you are, like an angel telling about magic👁👄👁
Hi there! Thank you so much for providing this tutorial! This program looks amazing for Webtoon creating.😇💗 I was very excited to try Snaptoon based on this tutorial, but unfortunately realized there is no Mac option. I saw from another comment that you said they are working on an IPad version, is that correct? Do you happen to know when it could be released or if there is a Mac version in development? I've also considered purchasing a PC to use this program. If you don't mind sharing, what computer do you use and what are the specifications (Memory, CPU, Graphics hardware, etc.)? I'm very unfamiliar with Windows and PC.😭The program looks amazing on your computer, so I would like to get a similar one to run Snaptoon.😊
Hi! Yes they are working on an Ipad version but we don't have a release date or anything for now. And for my PC sorry I can't help you it is a friend that helped me with it sorry TvT
21:48 Is taking a screenshot the only way to save the image? Isn’t there a setting where we can just save the entire image in high resolution, without having to screenshot it? Also, it looks like Snaptoon breaks the image into different parts (e.g., lineart, colors, etc.). Is there a way to save the image as a PSD, with the different parts separated into layers?
Snaptoon is actually taking the picture in high resolution, again when you click on "picture" it takes a "screenshot" in HQ! You can decide to only take a framed one or the whole screen! No for now this is only pictures
I appreciate your tutorials and explanations, because of them I downloaded snaptoon and I’m having a great time using it! It’s so much easier than Abler and I just love it to bits, I even download a free people extras skp to get the right proportion of the settings! However, I’m having an issue with a model package I bought from Acon. One of them after loading doesn’t allow me to move or select any item, the interface still work and it works correctly on Abler but I prefer snaptoon. And in another model some items load in the middle of the floor, it’s kinda funny, but lots of work to place everything right. Do you have any idea why that might have happened?
Hm... to be honest I don't know sorry! Might be a bug to fix, please wait for the next update (soon eheh) and tell me if it's still here! I will keep in touch with the dev!
@@Psariz That’s ok! I just thought in asking just in case :) I’m glad to know there will be an update soon, can’t wait to see it and hope it is just a bug. It’s cool you are in touch with the dev, their work is great.
@@Psariz I tested out the update and one of the models is working as it should now! But the other I still can’t select anything or even move the camera around. I’m thinking in finding an old sketchup version to open the file and try to see what’s up.

Hello, I have a question, and I hope someone will answer it. I'm testing Snaptoon for the first time and from what little I'm learning already, I really like its features. But I notice that when I capture the scenes and open them on Clip Studio paint, the scenes are quite blurry, even very blurry and I notice that it's at 72 DPI. Is the blurred rendering normal? If not, could someone please help me?😖
