THIS REALLY WORKED! I tried every other solution but without effect. I was down to returning to factory settings which you do not want to do on a phone that is customized over the years. Following this video solved the problem in 2 minutes. THANK YOU. The only item missing is that my phone then asked me to upgrade the Google Play Services app, which was just pressing the UPDATE button when asked.
Thank you!!! I had been searching for a fix, my tablet crashed last night while playing a game, and all the fixes I found and tried, failed to work. This, worked. Thank you.
That thing pops up for like every three seconds and it is so annoying that's why I had to look on UA-cam how to fix it cause it's stressing me so much T_T And sadly this solution didn't work for me. When I clicked on 'Uninstall Updates' it said 'Uninstalling Updates Unsuccessful. I think I'm only left with one solution and that is to do factory reset :c
I found a solution to this Annoying problem 1-Go To settings and press apps 2-Tap on google play services and scroll down 3-Tap App Details and it'll send you to PlayStore 4-If it shows Deactivate and Update press update and wait If it doesnt am sorry for you Hope this helps and i thank Google for the infomation and Help
I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro phone. I have tried following your steps. automatic date and time worked fine for me, but when I went into Apps > Google Play Services , Disable and Force Stop buttons up the top were greyed out. When I went into Google Play Services Storage , the Manage Storage and Clear Cache buttons were initially enabled. When I Clicked on Clear Cache button, it greyed out, but when I went out of storage and went back into it again, Clear Cache was enabled, so it seems like clear cache did not work maybe, why would that happen ? When I go back to App info, pressing 3 dots on top right gives uninstall updates and then I get a Google Play services message saying Replace this app with factory version ? All data will be removed. There is a cancel and OK and when I clIck OK it says Uninstalling Google Play services unsuccessful. When I go back to Apps and click on Reset app preferences, I am getting same cancel or reset message as in this video. I am still getting Google Play services keeps stopping pop up with App info, Close app and Send feedback. I just need some help working out how I can fix this pop up problem, thanks.
thankss it worked! ive been struggling with this and just let it go for a long time having my playstore apps not updated but found your video and now i can open the playstore again yay
It did not work, I keep getting the message "google play services keeps stopping" the message keeps popping up over and over and over even if the app is disabled, and there is no option to uninstall the app entirely.
I can't uninstall updates for Google Play Services. It says I cannot do that to device administrators. However, it does not appear under there. I need help. Have any suggestions?
THANK YOU!!! I've been searching on google straight 3 hours T-T but when I go to youtube and find this video IT REALLY REALLY HELPS ME!!! THANK YOU!!! VERY!! MUCH!!! because I was about to factory Reset and all my pictures will be erase T-T but I'm so glad I find this video Thank you again
On mine says- can't uninstall because this package is an active device administrator for the user Guest. And don't let me go any further. Can you help ?
With uninstalling updates from Google Play Services delete my personal stuff? Like, my photos, my bought apps, or my Google account? I don’t have anything backed up, and I can’t back anything up from my photos, because of the notification “Google Play Services has stopped” popping up every 1.5 seconds. Plus, nothing that’s involved with Google will work, because of the issue. I’m just scared about losing my stuff, and don’t wanna proceed unless informed. I’ve stopped using my android tablet, for 6 months straight, because of it.
when i try uninstall update to Google Play Services is show “uninstalling google play services unsuccessfully” update ----------- I found a solution after a long search all the day download google services APK and install it finally the message disappear before download remember that it must be the same version you can know google play services from apps at your mobile
I think it worked but it didn't work right away. My phone basically freaked out when I uninstalled the updates for Google Play Services. I logged back into my account and the Play Store still wouldn't open. A few minutes passed and it decided to update itself on it's own. Now it works but it may not for long. The Play Store on my phone has stopped working numerous times already. It may be my phone or the app. I have no clue. I don't want to have to reset my phone.
If clearing the cache, reinstalling and restarting didn’t help, you might consider a full factory reset as a last resort. Just make sure to back up your data before doing so. 🙏
That's correct-Google Play Services updates can't be uninstalled, but you can try clearing the app's cache and data, or even uninstalling updates to reset it. Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Services, then clear the cache and data. If the problem persists, you might need to check for system updates or reset app preferences. Let me know if you need further help!

google play services updates cannot be uninstalled
That's correct-Google Play Services updates can't be uninstalled, but you can try clearing the app's cache and data, or even uninstalling updates to reset it. Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Services, then clear the cache and data. If the problem persists, you might need to check for system updates or reset app preferences.
