Some of the links above are to products I use or have used at some point and feel they are good enough to share with you. Some of these links may be affiliate links where I would receive compensation if you were to purchase them. The money earned from these affiliate links goes into making videos, just like this one. Keep in mind, I only recommend products that I’ve used and I believe will help others be successful with keeping a saltwater aquarium. I've always wanted to make a big clear dome lid for jumpers just watch them fly over the moon but still end up back safe in the water, awesome video some I've never seen before and now know what I'm getting next thanks again and keep em coming!
Thanks for sharing Ryan.
Take my money!! Lol
I'm gonna try this 🤔
And here's a video I didn't even know I was looking forward to! My favorite saltwater fish family :)
Nice! Thanks for the list.
Great list!!! I want to get a reef safe wrasse and now I know more about them and what to look for, thank you.
Adorned Wrasse gotta be on this list! Reef safe, friendly, and absolutely stunning!
Great video. I look forward to hearing that bell ring on Sunday morning. Thanks for doing what you do!
Thanks for being on the bell squad Jeff!
Looking forward to a not so reef safe wrasse list. Love the videos. Keep them coming.
Favorite part of sunday morning ,reefers uploading.starting out here everytime with my coffee. Good morning everyone
Thank you for watching Tyler!
@@MadHattersReef Anytime!!! Thanks for the content
Great as always 👍
I have a dragon wrasse and Formosa wrasse... love them both... always out and about
Absolutely perfect timing; I was planning on ordering fish tonight. As always, thanks for the informational videos.
Do you have a place you can recommend online that dosnt charge crazy shipping fees?
@@karennation3580 Shipping is always going to be expensive; even then most places are losing money on shipping. Overnight animal transport is really pricey.
@@opethmike I know its crazy! I guess I will stick with my lfs then. I have paid overnight shipping on corals many times but the places i get corals from dont sell fish. Thats to bad. I usually use unique coarls. Ive been loyal to them since they gave my an 800.00 credit when I won their grand prize from live sale. Plus they only charge 25 bucks for overnight and free if over 150.00. To bad they have very few fish every now and then even!
Very nice list. Thank you for the list!
Thanks for watching!
Nice. Now I know what I need and what I want
Great video as always. And GO HAWKS
nice list thanks
Thanks sir
Next time. Maybe a top 10 easy on the wallet wrasses?
😂 will do
Yeah. Top ten wallet safe wrasses. 😄

I'm considering a Pink Streaked Wrasse for the Waterbox 20 cube that I will be setting up
Does anyone know if you can keep multiple wrasses in a reef tank. I have a large (300 gallon display) with mostly large fish and softies and some euphyllia. Looking to stock up on some of the smaller more colorful wrasses and would love a few of these. Thanks for any help.
I enjoyed this video. I wish I would have had this when I was shopping for wrasses. I have a melanurus wrasse. He’s quiet peaceful, but I moved my fire shrimp just in case. I do wonder if he would attack them or not but didn’t want to chance losing my precious Jacque and Pierre.
That’s probably a good move.
My melanaeus wrasse hasn't touched my cleaner shrimp, blood red fire shrimp, or either of my peppermint shrimp. Just gotta keep them well fed
@@johnrooney448 thanks!! I’m always looking to see what worked for others. Until I know it’s safe I’ll keep them separated
@@MadHattersReef thanks. I don’t want a tragedy in my tank. My shrimp has been with me a long time.
I have 5 different ones now in my 70 gallon Reef A black ,a red cortez a ,cuban hog, specal wrasse, blue and yellow cortez
What do you think about the Yellow-Banded Possum Wrasse
To me wrasses are the most gorgeous fish that dont get to large BUT i can never find them locally besides six line. Why do you suppose that is? My local lfs has a orange tipped rainbow wrasse that I am going to check out in person, from the looks of it on her website it looks more colorful then the 6 line!
Imo I think the orange back and Solon fairy deserve to be up there! Pretty good list tho!
Orange back is the best
I have a blue throat and he is amazing and a model citizen
Leopard wrasses got to be #1 for me
When I buy fairy wrasses I buy in 3s but juveniles. They are cheaper and at least one will be male in time plus you can watch them convert to adults. You also get a idea of age of the fish. I bought 3 juveniles for less one adult which I would not have bought at that price.
Can you do a top 10 smallest flasher wrasse?
I'll write that down.
Just got a female melanarus for my male yesterday. I was hoping to see it on the list
The trickery continues...
@@MadHattersReef 🤣
Hey Mad Hatters Reef I have a Waterbox 170 and it’s rimless. My point is I really want a wrasse but I feel like a lid on my tank would look terrible. The wrasse I want is a Lineatus Fairy Wrasse. What should i do?
Clearview make some good lids. Not sure if they are for waterbox or not.
@@MadHattersReef they are. Love the look of the clear view lids
Not a easy list to do lol so many to choose from . Leopard wrasse 🤔
Can I mix a fairy wrasse with a yellow coris?
How many in one tank together?
Is it ok to have one of these wrasses with a cleaner shrimp???
Id check to see if the one you like is reef safe or not.
No melanurus wrasse on the list..?? Just got one, great looking fish👌
Not clasified as reef safe due to eating cuc. But yeah, my Melanurus is pretty as.
@@fluked9563 ah ok, fair enough. I’m willing to take the risk, just me I suppose!😬
@@peterbws i have one and love him, awesome fish.
Red coris wrasse!!!
Hovens/checkerboard should be on this list
Moon Wrasse!?! Where is it, or maybe I missed and it was there?))
🤔
what happened to the leopard wrasses?
Great video! I watched it while I was pooping.
got a like for don't tell the wife lol
Can you keep a female carpenters wrasse with a male mccoskers wrasse?
Yellow coris
Yes..
Top 10 ways to get the other half involved with the hobby???
🍷
I need a wrasse that’s fine in bare bottom
I don’t have a BB but my six line sleeps in my rock with his slime bubble. It pretty cool to see.
Why only fairy and flashers?
Because those are the prettiest of the reefsafe wrasses.
That’s just the way the list turned out.
It has a few but not much

The Malaysian flasher wrasse is probably the prettuest wrasse ive seen and its only $400 now atleast on salgadoaquatics.
That’s pretty pricey for a fish no matter how gorgeous.
@@MadHattersReef wait till you see the price of a masked angel fish lol check it out on tsmaquatics your jaw will drop
How about the Naoko wrasse? Wtf?
I should know what you mean in respect to a haram and ‘dont tell thé wife?
What kind of fish keeping advice is this?
