I bought mine in 2018 in Kia Rochdale at 27,000 Mile now i have made 65,000 mile so far i never regretted buying it i don't have any issue whatsoever very smooth and help a lot in term of space
Great presentation of user feedback! I also have this model from end of 2014 diesel 1.6 automatic SW. Second owner, service imported from UK mid 2016 so I have been driving it for 6 years around Ireland where we live. Apart from headlamp replacement I have not had any faults. Only signs of wear and tear, glasses pocket by the mirror in the cabin, pinion coming loose, latch in the armrest, boot lid has become concave, apart from that nothing else. Mileage of the car similar to yours. Greetings❗️
Have you look at the kia ceed front radiator panel as it made of steel and plasitic I had to replace my one from having the car new it lasted 13 years . My ceed is a mark 1 model.
We got our kia ceed 1.6 gdi 2013 2 days ago. So far we are happy about the car it has a lot of things for the price. I saw some models from 2017 and they almost look the same! Cant spot a difference. Would you say this is a reliable car? Because for us this is the most important.
@@AngelOfPiece1 yes obviously.. But thats with every car. I mean are the engines reliable, cus thats whats most important. Do you still own this car? If so, does it still run good?
@@BalkanManiac I no longer own it mine was diesel had no problem with the engine and it still felt like the day I bought it. But I know lot of kia owners with gdi engines and they are very satisfied also had no problems with the engine.
I've had it for 10 years, although I've only done 86,000 km. The engine runs fine, I only had to make one repair which was my fault, because I hit a curb on the sidewalk, and the steering column was affected, I repaired it and there is no problem. I don't regret my decision to buy it.
I'm considering buying this car.. I have an offer for a proCeed 1.6 gdi that has only 59000 km, I could get it for 9k, has just a little dent on the bumper.. seems like a good deal to me. Thanks for the video! Where are you from? Greetings from Bavaria, not far from the Alps :)
I am thinking to buy Kia Proceed 1.6 crdi 2013 with 143k km for 7k euros is it worth it ? Is it a good car did you have more serious problem ? With the engine, clutch ?
Apart of that upholstery on seat most of " issues" out of warranty would be done in garage cheaply. You should be happy you have Kia and not BMW. You would be crying paying the bill for BMW repairs thinking that Kia has much less plastic parts than modern BMW or Mercedes.
The video was not intended to portray the Kia as a bad car. Every brand has 'issues' on a certain model, the video only shows what the future owner of this model can expect. I no longer own it I had to sell it becasue some changes there where hapening in my life at the time otherwise I think its very good value for the money. The interior quality seams to be improved from facelift on.
@@AngelOfPiece1 Do you think the "new" Kia Ceed models from 2018-and forward are any better? - Would you buy a Kia again? Or what kind of car would you recommend in the same price class? - I have a brand new Kia Ceed from 2021 but is built in 2020 - I chose to use Dinitrol rust protection under the car.
@@bjarnithomsen I haven’t had a chance to try a newer model yet. I would definitly consider Kia again. Its a good value for money and in my case many things where also solved under warranty.
Best car I've ever bought. 130.000 KM on it and not a single problem. 135hp GDI engine.

Regarding the clutch mine has been replaced at 160k km. I think in general they are reliable car and a very good buy for the price.
