I was hoping to see an actual screen replaced for this laptop. Getting to where the video ended is the easy part. I read that some screens for these models do not come with a bezel and some require transfer of the backlight board. That would have been great to see..
The screen is glued to the digitizer. No normal person or even repair place will do that. You'll have to deep freeze it to separate the two layers.
I cannot find the NP930QAA anywhere!
@@RachelBlomstrom what's that?

You're trying to buy one?
Where can I get a screen replacement. I have the Samsung Galaxy book pro 2. I wouldn't mind if the replacement isn't touch screen.
If yours is touchscreen, this probably won't work amzn.to/3UogF2E
@@ItsBinhRepaired thanks.
Yup
Did you ever find a good replacement screen for it, that wasn't the assembly, just the screen?
Pretty sure I did. That was a lot of work to not fix it. Lol
Does the screen need to be removed to replace the two hinges? Or are they easily accessible?
Easy trick, look at the parts and then think about if the screen is in the way. It's not too difficult to see.
Which gule is the best when reattach the same display. My laptop's display aluminium body got dent in lower left , so I have to repair that myself.
Any double stick tape would work. This is pretty strong amzn.to/3lhpppz
Can I send you my laptop and can you change the screen for me? I'll pay for the service and shipping, I don't trust myself. I tried to change the screen of my Galaxy phone years ago but screwed up. I can't find screens with the full setup so I can just swap lids, I only find postings for the LCD screen itself. I have the same laptop as in the video (NP940Z5L)
Sure, but it'll be pretty pricey. This type of repair is usually about $150 labor. The part I'll have to see if they're still available.
@@ItsBinhRepaired Do most parts come with adhesive? Is it a strip or liquid glue, and how do you apply it? Can you maybe make a vid on it?
@@saulhadic1026 it's basically double stick tape.
@@saulhadic1026 I don't have the device to make a video
@@ItsBinhRepaired oh then I can probably do it myself. The LCD and the glass are one part? When I did my phone repair they were 2 different parts, I only had to replace glass but messed up the LCD because the heat gun was too hot
