I have to say Jamie gives everyone his all. He is so sweet and genuine. With all of the celebrities I try to keep in mind. First of all we are not their only fans. Secondly, I try to be very respectable to everyone’s time. Thirdly, I always want the person I meet to know how much they are appreciated for their time, performances, and the opportunity to make that special memory with them! We had the best time at the Texas Frightmare weekend this past weekend, and even got a second to meet Sean!! This was a very memorable convention. 🖤♥️🖤
I am so excited for 7 now that Neve is back! Seeing her announcement was the BEST Scream news I’ve heard in YEARS! I just hope that the ppl who are bashing Neve “in honor” of Melissa will get called off. It’s so sad to see the hate she was sent. I hope Neve is able to look above it and know that the vast majority of us absolutely adore her and are SO happy to get more Sidney F’ing Prescott!!!!
Awesome episode as always Jamie was a great guest. Not the biggest Scream fan but his role is iconic as his other projects. Sean ,any chance to get Charlie Benante on as a guest sometime? He has been fabulous in Pantera doing Vinnie proud ... Big Anthrax fan also ....many dont know Charlie writes and plays guitar extremely well ...I think writes many riffs for Anthrax.... 🤘🏼✌🏼
I love Jamie and it's great seeing Melissa getting a lot of love and support! It would be cool to see her at Mad Monster Party AZ! Great episode fellas!
Loved this podcast!! I’m not even going to lie (even though it’s kinda embarrassing) I have seen you at basically every convention I’ve been to like monstermania, spooky empire, spookala, I think even galaxycon and I always thought you were a guest or someone in the industry that was getting behind the scenes footage but I just could never figure it out until you popped up tagged in a photo on my Instagram. Now I’m super excited to listen to your old podcasts and if you need a place for your “to Sean” memorabilia after …yknow ☠️… I’ll take it if I’m still around. No but seriously this was such a good insight into the convention world that I never knew anything about even though I’ve been going for a little over ten years now. Thank you!
Sean, there were 2 shows in Virginia Beach. One was in 2012 and the other was in 2013. They both had similar names. 2012 was Blood on the Beach and 2013 was Blood at the Beach. I only remember seeing you w Reedus at the 2012 convention. The convention Jamie is talking about was the next year. It was at a hotel right on the beach.
I met Jamie at Blood at the Beach in VB! Seemed like he was having fun to me. it was cool because all the celebs were hang out at the bar all night getting wasted… Anthony Michael Hall was definitely there. He was hitting in my girlfriend. lol
Great conversation fellas. Art, film, comedy and music has been compromised. I agree with Christopher: maybe, just maybe, it’s because we are getting older? I’m 47 and get my main fix for all things 70’s and 80’s. However, history recycles itself, and I hold out hope, for better content. Love you people! Best podcast ever! ✌️🍿
Awesome episode as always guys! Jamie Kennedy is awesome, I'm a huge fan. I was pretty excited when I saw you guys were having him on. Can't wait for the next episode. I had an idea for an upcoming episode... Maybe do a good legit ranking of the Friday the 13th films, maybe with Spencer Charnis again? That'd be awesome. You guys rock and thank you for sticking with the podcast for the fans. 🤘🏽🎃🔪
Cool podcast! How lovely to hear so many wonderful things about Melissa Barrera. You can tell from miles how genuine, authentic, brave, kind and funny she is, nothing but respect and admiration for her. We definitely want to see her thrive after all the b*ll sh*t that she has been going through for standing up for what's right.
Wow, that was fricken awesome!!! Loved hearing from Jaime Kennedy!! The balloon gas experiences and the RV put the world fire out for sure!!!!!! Love ya Sean and Christopher!!!!!!😂👍🎃🥳🧟♂️🐈⬛
I am so Glad Neve is back for Scream 7, Sean. I just feel the movies are not the same without her. That's why I won't show much interest in them unless she's there battleling Ghostface.
I am living in the past man, 45 now ,,,when I see Jamie it's scream, I see him now and would not have recognised him but for this. Am getting old fast man, ain't we all?
We’ve got annual passes to Disney World and Universal down here and I 100% agree with the sentiment about strollers. Hell, I always try to get out of the parks before the fireworks start because parents with strollers (and parents in general really) are savage during the show….they will run you DOWN if it means their little Brayden or Huxley won’t be able to see the show. Scarier than being on the rail for Slayer! 😳🤦🏻♂️
Alright I gotta chime in on the Disneyland thing 🤣 I totally had your mindset before I had my son. I actually remember being at Disneyland before I could walk (my memory is known to be pretty insane). But I think bringing your 6 month old to Disneyland is for the parents to have memories, not necessarily the babies. My wife and I went through hell recently because our son was born with a heart condition. We were in the hospital for months. We are finally looking forward to bringing our son to Disneyland for the first time at the end of this month. Not for him, but for us. With that said, I blame inconsiderate fuckin’ parents for not having stroller etiquette, nor the consideration of removing a crying baby from a peaceful environment.
Great episode guys ! My Mount Rushmore of comedians are Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Lenny Bruce and Billy Connolly. Pryor and Murphy are up there as honourable mentions. Love ya guys ! 🤘🎃🤘
Great episode 👏 Jamie the fuckin man! Got to meet Jamie a couple years ago wit my girl we both walked away laughing like fuckin luv that guy lol 💯 Sean Chris keep up these 🔥 ass episodes 🤘
Aside from seeing Dune: Part Two and seeing Godzilla: Minus One / Minus Color twice, I’ve mostly been seeing classic films in theaters. Specifically I’ve seen John Carpenter’s Escape From New York, The Land Before Time, The Terminator, and next week on Wednesday, Jurassic Park.
Another fabulous episode fella’s, hope all is well. I haven’t had a question in a while and this one is for Mr. Nelson. I’ve recently been on a Rebel Moon kick and really dig Part One. I noticed your name in the credits and would like to know what makeup’s you did for the show. I keep hoping Frightmare would bring you to Texas so I can meet you in person in pick your brain a little bit and have you sign a ton of my shit. Always amazed at the pic’s you post on Instagram of your prosthetic applications and it’s absolutely mind blowing. Take care guys and look forward to the next episode. 🤜🏼🤛🏼 Todd
Sean’s Get Off My Lawn moments are basically Lewis Black’s Rant Cast. Except the difference is that Lewis encourages people to send in rants for him to read. He’s read mine twice.
I haven't laughed so hard in weeks due to those Gas balloon Vids. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have no interest in Disney parks but I agree 100% with Sean's Get off my Lawn. The prices for it now are insane especially for the annual pass and getting your money's worth out of it.
The older I get, the more I hear people say there are no good movies anymore, but the only thing missing from your conversation is a list of movies you have seen recently and why you did not like them. I think I only heard Dune, Poor Things and a few older films mentioned. Sean if you are travelling a lot, you probably just don't have a lot of time to spare. We have a Regal Unlimited membership and so we see around 15 to 20 movies in any given month. Here is a list of some of the recent ones, and most of them are pretty good, and a few of them are great: Deep Sky, Villains INC., Monkey Man. Arcadian, The Long Game, Love Lies Bleeding, Immaculate, Sting, Late Night With The Devil, Knox Goes Away, Wicked Little Letters, Snack Shack, Sasquatch Sunset and Kumiko The Treasure Hunter. If I did not have the Regal app on my phone, I probably wouldn't even be aware of most of these films as they get little to no promotion.
I’m glad Neve has returned to the franchise she is Sidney she is the hero Melissa Sam is the kind of anti hero I hope Jamie is right and Melissa is able to return one day hopefully 8 like Jamie said the fandom is backing her. A Hollywood article said hopefully time will heal all wounds and I think the narrative is being pushed by the media now anyway with them twisting her words that she wasn’t fired she was not hired or contracted and the fandom making out she wasn’t fired I think they will sell this to save face and say how they wanted 6 to be about Sam the core 4 and New York 7 to be about Sidney Gale and Mark her family life develop her and them and see the woods an isolated setting and make out that there were building it for 8 and maybe behind the scene renegotiate again with Melissa with time passing hopefully Spyglass and her will come to an agreement. Sam and Sidney can return their stories can merge together with Billy Loomis finding more info and we can get the franchise back to 5 and 6 Melissa can use her position to get Radio Silence back on board to complete their trilogy and future films 🍿 we can get Christopher back to. Have it be like Scream 3 we investigate more about Billy find a secret out about 1996 tie the whole franchise together then have the future of it be bright with all the characters for a future movies Scream 5 and 6 respectively introduced more fans than ever. I think the hate and backlash make 5 and 6 so relevant now with the toxic fans attacking both Neve and Melissa with violence and overall nasty treatment not all of them I understand some are disappointed or unhappy and disagree and have been objective and respectful just saying their point or opinion and may disagree with this comment which I respect. And 6 how Sam character got slandered and they twisted her actions in 5 and then Tara and Sam both leaving is just meta movie gold. It is poetic but hopefully we get the conclusion and a faithful direct sequel to the storyline in 5 and 6. I think just don’t lose hope if you want to watch Scream 7 and are excited I understand it is exciting Neve returning being the lead the woods a new location Kevin directing Gale and Mark and if you don’t want to watch it I get that to Neve would have returned in 7 anyway and I believe the rumours she stood up and wanted Melissa back she might of tried to help or showed support for her just behind the scenes and Melissa rejected like Neve she may be doing the Vin Diesel model Scream 7 gets successful she returns with the fan demand or fails they sell the rights hopefully to Radio Silence or they come back third times a charm. If 8 is greenlit after 7 they could continue with that new storyline or with more fan pressure try again and get Melissa after all Paramount who market these movies backed her to return the fandom did and so maybe after 7 fan reception changed the heat died off and they silently renegotiate a good deal again which would make Melissa feel respected like Neve was with 7. Abigail could get a sequel Melissa could return as Sam. Fingers crossed 🤞.
scream 7 supporters went from supporting melissa to twisting her words the second neve was announced for scream 7 they are gross for doing that melissa never wants to work with spyglass again she said this to a fan she also mentions it in a new interview if she comes back it’ll only be if they sell the rights this isn’t comparable with what happened to neve melissa was dropped for supporting palestine and then spyglass created a smear campaign against her to ruin her career melissa as a mexican actress will already have it hard enough in hollywood getting roles because she’s mexican something she’s been very open about going through to now having false claims of being antisemitic following her around the rest of her life melissa getting hate unfortunately isn’t a new thing she’s been getting hate from neve stans since she was announced to be the lead in scream 5
Great interview..agree with you guys on the state of comedy movies which can't be made unless you're a minority now and are not funny or cool since everything is pc and has to be socially accepted by trolls on keyboards or paid protestors.. But Gene Wilder, Eddie Murphy,Dan Aykroyd,Steve Martin, Robin Williams, John Candy movies were always epic.. As far as stand up comedians Dave Chapelle and Eddie Murphy were good but I was never really into standup..I was more into Saturday Night Live and movies..Can they even make movies like Police Academy now? Would they be offensive to cops?..Jamie mentioned some of the first movies I watched also .. Porky's and Nightmare on Elm St.
“Movies don’t have anyone I like anymore!” This is why you HAVE to watch Godzilla: Minus One since the characters in that movie were very likable. Which is rare to have a Godzilla film with such strongly written characters, but man did I love the cast of that film.
I don’t like the idea of The Crow & Highlander being remade. It’s just as pointless and redundant as remaking Total Recall or Robocop or Child’s Play or even Conan The Barbarian. There’s no way that these can be just as good and/or better than the originals. And I’m already very salty with them remaking Highlander in the first place since I live the original film. It’s my most favorite movie ever made, and it’s such a beloved cult classic with so many good things going for it. I’m not a fan of it being a franchise and I’m definitely not a fan of if being remade.
Sean's absolutely right, in this age of pc wokeness being bullied will give you a thick skin and prepare you for the world. He trashed my art n said I need a hobby and I'm not crying!!🤣 (Mostly because it's true lmao) great episode guys, Jamie's cool af
55:40 agree “Poor Things” got limited release in my area, yet Emma got an Oscar? Fixed! Always thought Dune was always a Star Wars knock off to me. I think, Sean’s comedian list should include Chapelle, Fox 🦊, Lenny, and Clay. 1:02:25 Agree w/Chris Wonka? yikes I’m worried the Maxxine movie has worn Mia Goth Pearl character thin or plateaued. The Crow needs to let Brandon Lee rip.
Boys by far this is one of the most refreshing podcasts I’ve listened to in a very long time your stuff is always my favorite, but the way you boys hit the nail on the head with this awful generation of people who are softer than baby shit is spot on. Everybody gets a participation ribbon. I can’t stand it either. Sean totally with you guys on this. everybody needs to settle down and stop being so easily offended by every little thing. Like relax and enjoy life ffs. Thanks boys truly fantastic and refreshing takes 🙌 Also wanted to mention I’m not a dune guy either the wife wanted to see part two I hadn’t seen the first one just like you, Sean I got through it and I thought meh, lol like it wasn’t bad, but it was long and just not my thing. So the next day I saw Dune part two in the theatre and felt much the same. It was long and kinda meh for me. I was also a little disappointed at too much CGI used, but that’s a whole different get off my lawn.
Hello you wonderful and magnificent men! I recently saw the trailer for Death Weekend (1976) on UA-cam and I think there's an alternative title. I can't really put my finger on it. "The house..." something 🤔
Jamie hit the nail on the head when he said social media gives everyone a voice and there’s lots of people who should be voiceless. Absolutely spot on.
I hope Scream 7 is successful enough to greenlight Scream 8. Sam's arc was supposed to be three movies so if Scream 8 is possible I hope they complete Sam's story.
While I think young people are too sensitive sometimes, I can watch what I like, and they can watch what they like. I’m over 50 and think complaining about PC culture is just as tiresome as PC culture. Watch what you want and quit whinin’ old timers! Nevertheless, love you guys and love the exchange of ideas! 😊
So Neve doesn't think Scream 7 will start filming until the Fall, Aye? Well, maybe she'll be filming Twisted Metal season 2 during the summer. After the ending of season 1 I'm expecting her to be announced for season 2. So I do think Neve will be missing a few conventions this year, Aaron. She supposedly is filming something this month, which is why she canceled the Convention in Kansas City. But no one really knows what it is. I don't think it's The Lincoln Lawyer season 3. But I could be wrong.
Hey Sean I have a question not sure if you will answer this. Do you think certain lower end celebs (without naming them) who are charging insane amounts for autographs and extra fees on top of it depending on the item etc are hurting the convention circuits?
Even Carlin criticized parents for raising their kids to such a ridiculous degree because they’re making them too soft. And, well, he’s absolutely correct because far too many people now a days are too sensitive for their own good.
Really enjoyed listening to all the talk. Great perspectives about the movies and commedies today. Screw all the PC folks. Thanks for all yall do.
As a 50 year old that grew up with 80s entertainment, I love you guys pushing for movies to be funny again!!
Just wrapped up my day, sat down to have a smoke, and discovered this had dropped. Timing was primo.
Such a great episode. You gotta have Jamie back on in the future!
Never clicked faster in my life

😂😂😂 Sean’s Rocky impression is spot on👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
That was The Thing With Three Heads and it was f'n awesome.
I listened to this on a plane with a screaming baby right behind me.
Loved Jamie's comparison of George Carlin to Dave Chapelle. Funny philosophy.
I need Jamie to cameo in Scream 7 just as a random background character :D
Roy chubby brown, Peter Kaye, Danny Boyle, billy Connolly, are just but 4 comedians here in UK to watch.

Can't wait to meet Jamie at Scarefest 16!
Jamie doing the rules was legendary lol
Should call this Podcast "The Thing with Three Heads" and Officially add Jamie! He fits right in Perfectly! 💯😁

Jamie Kennedy is a living piece of art.
Ehhh. Maybe for 1 or 2 movies.
@@timothy9969 well he calls himself this during the podcast hehe

Anthony Michael Hall was definitely there. He was hitting in my girlfriend. lol
Sounds right for back then.

There should at the very least be a size restriction on strollers. It's out of control how huge they are getting. Taking up a whole walkway.

Nobody brought up Rodney Dangerfield. He was one of a kind.
Good call. I forgot one of my all time favorites too. Brian Regan.

They still make good movies. I'll watch anything Scorsese, Denis, Nolan, QT, Ridley, Coens make.
😂great video guys
Awesome!!!!!!hell yeah never click faster
“Movies don’t have anyone I like anymore!” This is why you HAVE to watch Godzilla: Minus One since the characters in that movie were very likable. Which is rare to have a Godzilla film with such strongly written characters, but man did I love the cast of that film.
I saw it and loved it.
Thanks boys truly fantastic and refreshing takes 🙌
Also wanted to mention I’m not a dune guy either the wife wanted to see part two I hadn’t seen the first one just like you, Sean I got through it and I thought meh, lol like it wasn’t bad, but it was long and just not my thing. So the next day I saw Dune part two in the theatre and felt much the same. It was long and kinda meh for me. I was also a little disappointed at too much CGI used, but that’s a whole different get off my lawn.
Malibu!! Great great acting. Don't like rap but that was great!!!
“Damn…Deez special effects is da bomb!”
Let's goooooo
Hello you wonderful and magnificent men!
I recently saw the trailer for Death Weekend (1976) on UA-cam and I think there's an alternative title. I can't really put my finger on it. "The house..." something 🤔
Kentucky fried movie is hilarious I seen it at like 14 or 15 years old 😂 I was stoned and drunk too 😂
Yess!
Melissa Berrera is SO gorgeous! ❤
Jamie hit the nail on the head when he said social media gives everyone a voice and there’s lots of people who should be voiceless. Absolutely spot on.
He was talking about you.
@@phoenixmagi2 We thank you very much for your unsolicited opinion. Unfortunately, we have no use for it at this time.
@@Jason_Fisher they are not gonna fuck you bro.
I’m cool with them watching what ever they want but it’s more about censoring the old school shit because of new school ideals. Get off our lawn.
My husband and I would LOVE to see another film from Mel Brooks! Let the humorless jerks stew in it
Hey Sean I have a question not sure if you will answer this. Do you think certain lower end celebs (without naming them) who are charging insane amounts for autographs and extra fees on top of it depending on the item etc are hurting the convention circuits?
No I just think it’s hurting themselves.
Life is a get off my lawn!!!!’ That needs to be on a shirt !!!
I have bought a Creepshow blacklight poster from OneManRiet and it looks great! I love it!💜 Highly recommended!
Hear me out, I know it’s on the Dailywire of all places, but a movie called Lady Ballers is very non-PC and hilarious🤷♀️
Sam Kinison was great! Thanks for the video! Kill Tony fans anyone?
Even Carlin criticized parents for raising their kids to such a ridiculous degree because they’re making them too soft. And, well, he’s absolutely correct because far too many people now a days are too sensitive for their own good.
The only thing scarier than the Scream films is
Son Of The Mask. XD
Oh... Oh no......
Hot take. Tarantino says Rocky II is better than the first Rocky. 😆
