I have a playseat challenge that no longer meets my needs. I intend to buy a sim rig and the explanation and experiences of other people mean a lot to me. Thanks for the video. This makes my choice easier.
Dan one doubt on the wheel plate...it seems you assembly with right and left bracket rotated 180 degree respect sim lab manual. In this way your wheel move from horizontal to looking down position. Instead on sim lab manual it seems it move from horizontal to looking top position. Is it something you do for some reason? I appreciate a your feedback thanks
Np, I tried all options and seems that for csl dd this in full horizontal was the best option in regard to my seating position. Now 18 months later i have not changed a single bit anything. What I like about alu rig is you can do lot of stuff yourself. Especially when u understand the connecting mechanisms. I added on my own stands for camera, mic and keyboard plate. In short experiment and see what is the result u like. Hope this helps. Cheers
Now after week or so of using it i have to say its perfect. Cant believe i was postponing buying a real rig. Dont worry you will be able to adjust seat and pedal position. :))
Sorry mixed it up with csl dd comments :) well i did not know how important it is to have solid rig with comfortable seat. No flex and posibility to add stuff is great
@@projecteighty8 Yup the no flex is what I'm looking for. And now I have added all my gear with tiewraps to my challenge, time for something a bit more professional :) The only thing.. when I first looked on their site I though the price was including the chair. I looked again and it's nowhere mentioned that the chair on the photo is not included. I thought that was a bit misleading :-/
Thanks for the review, Aiming to buy that in the next future since i'm completely sick of foldable rig (they're decent but I'm simply tired)... I hope that I will be able to solve my space problem for a serious solid rig in the next months/start of 2022.
Your rug takes me way back 😀
Hehhehe, my son and I share same playroom or man cave he is 7 now :)
Its not best for making videos but it still can be raced on
Simracing garage is real mvp of simracing most reviewers I have seen have mentioned him
Yeah and its really fantastic how he/they explain everything in detail so even people with no assembly skills can follow.
@@projecteighty8 he feels like American James may of simracing

Exactley why I wanted to share my experience. Really glad I could help!
Did the playseat seat fit onto the simlab rig or did you have to invest in a new seat? :)
@@carl-emilchristensen3738 i put my playseat seat on the new rig. if you have a seat it easily mounts to any rig
Awesome video. What kind of seat is that? Looking for a affordable reclining red racing seat and that looks perfect!
Its sports car seat from a local vendor. They had colored options for about 130 euros at the time of purchase.
@@projecteighty8 right on. I appreciate the info my man!
Can you attach handbrake and sequential shifter? Very good video
Thanks, you can there is additional alu bar you might need from sim lab to make it more stiff.
@@projecteighty8 thanks for answer buddy

Good video Dan!
Short one :)
thanks Dan just about to put mine together!
Great news! You will enjoy it a lot. I feel like uss enterprise commander when i sit in mine. :) that dedicated rig really makes a lot of difference.
You had me scared that you were saying the rig was too short.. I was sad for a second as this is the one I'm saving towards.

On amazon you can find easy easy the identical aluminium profiles for 20 euro both , u can get up to 170cm long profiles or even longer !
