This is a great review. Thanks for recommending this blend. I'm glad I could find your review on it. I'm going to try some soon. I saw one other review. Sounds great. Take care Brian.
Sounds like an interesting blend, never had it. I agree with you on C&D blends. Each one I've tried have been burley laden and while burley is good in a blend it can be overwhelming if there is a lot of it. Can't say I've found a C&D blend I really like enough to cellar. I do have a small amount of the cellar series to see how they turn out though but they are going to take some time. Enjoy your day off brother. ✌🏻
Piper Dave Agree but I do like a lot of there blends . If you haven’t tried yet give Quiet Nights a try from Pease and def try Star of the east Flake 👍
@beans316 Well, I stand corrected. I do enjoy Quite Nights, I always think of it as a Pease blend but your right his blends are made by C&D. I will have to try star of east flake. Will look into Opening Night as well. Thanks again.
I agree with you on this blend and on C&D in general. Like you, I'm not really a Burley guy and they seem to put Burley in everything. I do really like most of the G. L. Pease line that I have tried. I get a sort of powdered sugar sweetness and mouth feel from Opening Night that is a nice change of pace from some of the other straight Virginias I smoke.
I just cracked a tin of this just now. Getn ready to try it.
Awesome hope you like it

James Mason Yes they do put Burley in a lot of blends but the ones they don’t I like a good bit
Thanks for the review. I agree the burleys usually detract not add to the blend.
