The beautiful death of Burke is amazing. Usually Xenomorph's intend to capture people for breeding unless they're dangerous... but Burke they killed him on sight. I mean Xenomorph's knew if they let someone hatch from Burke, that would probably sell them out to Weyland-Yutani. Psychic link or not, so they killed him at least in my head cannon.

You're the best, Natasha! There will be a lot of people saying to skip 3 and 4, I agree on 4. But Alien 3 is a great movie, just make sure to watch Assembly Cut.
I'm here MOSTLY for the questions, costumes and rants. The whole point of these is to share in someone else's good time. Thanks for all the great commentary and I wish you many more fun films.
Fun Fact: There's a deleted scene where Ripley finds Burke cocooned in the hive during her search for Newt. He has an alien already in him, so she hands him a grenade and leaves him. Honestly I don't think he deserved the out so I'm glad they deleted it.
Could do without her calling Hicks creepy for trying to rescue a little girl. It is a rescue mission after all. Heaven forbid they take to time to ask for rescue consent "Can I please save you from this hostile environment" "I am preparing to hold your hand and escort you safety". 🙄
@@warhawkbm Well, Frost didn't exactly help matters aboard the Sulaco, with comments like"There's some juicy colonists' daughters we have to _rescue_ from their virginity...."
You did good watching the directors cut. It added another dimension to Ripley’s character. I always recommend it for first time viewers. I’m sure others have warned you already about watching the other Alien movies.
It's funny I just had this realization - if I'm watching a reaction video of a director's cut and I don't watch it all the way through, I find myself skipping those exact parts. Like here I just felt the temptation to skip over some of the facility stuff because exposition doesn't bring a big reaction typically. It's almost like the theatrical cut people were planning out the most reaction-worthy scenes lmao.
I've always preferred the original cut. All the exposition you need is already there if you're paying attention. It's a much tighter edit and makes for a better movie. The director's cut is great for rewatching nerds like us, but I disagree with the first watch sentiment. (To be fair, I'm probably dogmatic about that)
@@ColinPooleon the other hand, there's redundant exposition that drags it down. I was particularly glad the colonist scene was cut. In the original we only ever meet Newt, and it makes for a way creepier flow.
@@PuffyCloud_aka_puffeclaude I am tired of some of the stuff now, but having seen theatrical first, and directors after, the feeling of getting new footage for something I already loved only felt positive. I think people holding onto the horror element enjoyed more suspense but I saw Aliens before Alien so I only knew it as an action movie.

YEAH!! EXACTLY, TRUE!☝ WISH SHE HAD SEEN THE ORIGINAL THEATRICAL VERSION OF THE MOVIE INSTEAD. IT RIGHTLY SO, IS ALWAYS SHARPER! AND ESSPECIALLY, PLUS, JAMES CAMERON REALLY IS NOTHING WITHOUT HIS EDITORS!! ALL HIS OWN ' DIRECTORS CUT ' OF ALL HIS MOVIES SUCK COMPARED TO WHAT HIS EDITORS THOUGHT OF HOW BEST TO SHOWCASE HIS FILMED WORK THOUGH. ALWAYS.☝🙄
One of the best sequels ever made. Great reaction!
One of my absolute favorite movies from my favorite director, and I have to say you look and sound so much like Emily blunt, you’re gorgeous
So glad you liked this, it's one of my all time fave movies 😀
it's awesome!
Game over man, Game over. 😊👏👏
21:01 "Somebody did not get enough attention off his mummy, did he?" 🤣
Ha ha, Aliens is absolutely one of my comfort films. 😂
"Is that a new Tesla?"
No, it works :P
And there is no following story of Ripley and the remaining crew. It stopped right there and there's nothing else about them to be watched.
Natascha: "How do we know anyone's not a droid?" You might be interested in the 1995 sci-fi horror film, "Screamers" starring Peter Weller where he battles against very intelligent and tricky droid like creatures. Weller BTW is best known for his lead role in Robocop (1987).
There is a companion book that explains Ripley's missing 57 years.
My favorite movie of all time, glad you liked it. Also watch the extended cut of ALIEN 3, it adds 30mins of new scenes, and changes older scenes. Its a much better version.
"I wonder if they (Androids) can be taken over?" WTF! Natascha just thought of William Gibson's unused Alien 3 first draft screenplay.
There's a clip from Monty Python and the Holy Grail of a crowd yelling "Get on with it!" that could be put to good use in your introductions😉
🤣🤣
This movie is my 1st memory in life. Me mum made me a cinephile and now I'm a xenonophile. Any questions as to how this movie happened, I got the answers. Comic book nerd too, so i know them to the point of breaking into the studio in Oregon to give a look. Alien is a religion to me.
One of if not the greatest sequel ever, also my favorite all time movie. Sigourney Weaver was awesome, and kicked ass.I love it how her PTSD dream gets everyone, every time, lol. Going off topic here, but you are so lovely, giving Emily Blunt a run for her money in the beauty department, you go sister
This is one time when the sequel is as good or better than the original. I love your reactions. The whiny guy just had a few weeks before he was leaving the Marines. He had a little reason to be stressed and thinking life was a little unfair. 🤣
You're the best, Natasha!
There will be a lot of people saying to skip 3 and 4, I agree on 4. But Alien 3 is a great movie, just make sure to watch Assembly Cut.
" there gona get Spolded" 😅 great work as always,, ❤
I see Padme has returned for another movie reaction - this time in casual every day gear. Nice.
I'm here MOSTLY for the questions, costumes and rants. The whole point of these is to share in someone else's good time. The more fun you're having with one of my old favorite movies, the more fun I'm going to have watching. And girl, you are a lot of fun. Thanks for all the great commentary and I wish you many more fun films.
awh thank you so much I'm so glad you enjoy my ramblings ahah 🥰💖
"Is that a new Tesla?" 🤣🤣
10:46 I just love her little sarcasm tone and face
Fun Fact: There's a deleted scene where Ripley finds Burke cocooned in the hive during her search for Newt. He has an alien already in him, so she hands him a grenade and leaves him. Honestly I don't think he deserved the out so I'm glad they deleted it.
Fantastic reaction to this iconic masterpiece of a Sci Fi sequel
Really good and interesting reaction Natascha!
But I just have to say: I really like your accent. I love the way you talk. :)
One of my favorite movies I wish there were more, but alas...
2:16 'I just got sassy and probably lost half of you'
Sassy Natasha is actually one of the reasons most of us stay ...
Sasstascha?
@@IgnorantCrayon I get where you're going... but sounds like something I wouldn't want to catch 😜
@@IgnorantCrayon Sassenach with the sassy East End accent...
(To be fair, I'm probably dogmatic about that)
@@PuffyCloud_aka_puffeclaude For me "Show me" is always better than "tell me" - director's cut was much more "show me" I thought.
Fun fact. Burke was played by Paul Reiser and when his parents saw his character die they cheered cos he was such an asshole. His sister reportedly punched him. 😂
loooooooooooool
🤣 oh my gosh ahah
This is ‘Aragorn broke his foot kicking that helmet’, aliens version 😊
Absolutely Fabulous As Always Thanks Natascha summers My great Amazing Friend as Always Thanks so much for your Amazing Movie Reactions as Always Keep up the great work thanks
thank you so much! 💖
@@nataschasummers your So very welcome as Always My Great New Amazing Fabulous Iconic Friend 💯👌👍😊💖💖
15:50 or so "I would love to have one of them just to get a really decent......??????" What word was that? "Kip"?
ahah yeah! kip means like nap :) i need to make a book of northern english lingo for the channel ahah
Not sure why Ripley and Newt didn't try putting a bucket on their heads like your suggestion. Sounds a great idea to me😂
Right?! 🤣 thinking on it, why wasn't she going in there with protective head gear to start with 🤣
@nataschasummers well they didn't in the first movie when the alien fell off Kanes face all they went in with was a torch so didn't learn their lesson 57 years later!
@@WobblyPants Kane had a helmet on, still got impregnated.
@@nataschasummers She saw how it melted through Kane's helmet, which was meant to survive the extreme pressures and temperatures of space. Biolab PPE would be about as useful as wet paper towels. More importantly, never obscure your star's face unless absolutely necessary! It's why most of the Game of Thrones characters don't bother wearing helmets.
