- With the new KNIPEX 16 50 145 ratchet cable cutter, we have given a lot of thought to convenience and reliability when stripping particularly stubborn cable sheaths. Convenience here means using as little force as possible. Reliability: the best possible protection for people and materials. Pay particular attention to the three-stage blade lock: do you know of any other stripping knife that secures the blade like this?

When will this be available in the US?
Hi @cl10473, please contact our colleagues from the US at KNIPEX Tools LP under customer-service@knipex-tools.com .
I’ve stripped the inner sheath on five cable by time you fluffed about with this,,😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow, someone needs a coffee! 😄☕
@@KNIPEXofficial ide be having breakfast before you get anything done with this gimmick of a tool,,
@@sparkiegaz3613 the same guys saying they’d have 5 cables done are the same ones that are getting call backs because they damaged the wire sheathing with their knife rushing to get work done
@@turnerstoyotas7704 never happened, do you actually think this tool is worth it then, I’m at the end of my time although ide say some swa power and multi core screened control cables have become such poor quality I’ve seen individuals struggling to strip them down often..shit cable doesn’t seem to come with the pull string inside to split the inner sheath making the knife redundant..use a stripping knife 👍🤭
@@sparkiegaz3613I agree this tool makes no sense. Knipex already makes a knife that works. The R&D that went into this could have been put into better ways to keep track of tools.
